The truth is that Ruger did indeed send only one magazine with the gun you purchased. You had asked about it, we did tell you they normally include a second magazine. We looked in the gun case that goes with your SR 1911, and saw that only one magazine was included. We "looked you in the eye" and said only one clip was received from them. As soon as we received a call from you stating you checked with Ruger and there should have been 2 magazines, we immediately contacted them ourselves. We wanted to make things right for you, as we stand behind all our products. We were informed by Ruger that some batches were mistakenly sent out with only one magazine. They apologized and proceeded to send out the second magazine. We then contacted you back after talking to them to let you know what they said, and that they were sending out the magazine. If you had communicated with us that you lived 90 minutes away, we would have mailed it out to you free of charge. We believed what Ruger told us and had no other suspicions or ill-will towards them. It was just human error. That is basically what transpired, and we apologize for your inconvenience, distrust and suspicions.
