Very good food and awesome service

If the first thing you see when you walk thru the front door of a restaurant is flies, Turn Around and Run. Well, we didn't. My party wanted to try their barbecue so I sucked it up and sat down. The floors were sticky and the table was in dire need of a wiping. It took seconds for our server to come over and take our drink order however it took over 15 minutes to get them. I can understand if it was slammed with customers but there was only 3 tables sat inside and they were parties of 3 and 4. I used to manage restaurants back in my home town up north so I know a few things about this biz. We were the only table in our servers section and we were a party of 5. I expected the food to come out in phases but I was wrong. We requested that my daughters meal come out with our apps but it never did. I had to ask twice for her shrimp. When it finally arrived, I realized that they were under cooked and smelled fishy. The second attempt was over cooked and I was leary that they were not fresh either. As for the rest if our food, the BBQ was ok, a little dry. My salad was warm, I didn't bother to eat it. Hubby's BBQ dish was passable and my dads steak was flavorless. I am going to assume that they were having an "off day". I would not recommend this place to my family and friends.
