BUYER BEWARE! Puppy Mill Puppies! We recently bought a puppy that we were guaranteed to be from a reputable local breeder. Come to find out that our puppy actually came from a Puppy Mill with numerous violations against them. Our puppy ended up with pneumonia, every parasite imaginable and almost died. The owner apologized but took no responsibility. after reading other reviews, I realized that I was not the first person who was lied to in this way. The store gives you insurance coverage as part of your purchase but the insurance company denied our whole claim although we had adequate documentation. After fighting with the insurance company we were partially reimbursed for some of the claim but still out over $300. We were told that a blood test is not necessary when dealing with pneumonia. According to two vets that we visited that test was a sure way to see in what shape our puppy really was and absolutely necessary. To make a long story short, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS BY BUYING

I was assuming I was getting a healthy puppy...he is a pekingnese/shitzu mix. He i s beautiful even with his lazy eye and a sweet temperment, however, we assumed all was well with his health. They have their own vet that supposedly looks over the animals and sees them several times, however, their vet and the store owner and staff, forgot to inform me that my puppy had 2, yes 2 bad knees called luxating pitella. They talked me into bringing my new puppy to get his shots etc, there I'm assuming to keep me from seeing a real vet and I did for a month or so and then he got sick and I took him to "my" vet and guess what? You got it...that's the FIRST thiing the vet informed me of. He said he was born with the issue which makes sense since he was only a few months old. Now he's almost 2 years old and has some big issues and it'll cost about $5,000 to get the double knee surgery. That doesn't count all the pain he'll be in either. Well, nobody is perfect,but this store comes close. I had been looking for a puppy for a long time. I even got scammed on the internet and lost $500. Stupid me! I came across their charming web site and was so impressed. I drove two hours to see their puppies. The biggest problem I had was choosing one-I wanted them all. Their puppies where so happy and healthy and clean. They are in large cages with no grates and lots of toys. The employees seem to really love them. I finally decided on a Shih Tzu. She is the love of my life. Stacy took great care in making sure I took care of her properly. I highly recomend this store.

I have been going to this store for years.....you don't see a staff like they have that have been there for years....they have very knowledgable staff when it comes to birds, fish, etc. Their tanks are the cleanest I have seen around Nashua. They are not like corporate stores...you don't see sink tanks there. Family Pet tries to nurse sick fish back to health where the corporate stores will just flush them down the toilet.
