Overall
Don't miss it!

What a pleasant surprise in Fort Bragg! The rest of the town is a bit of a mix of industrial, old, and tourist areas, but when you enter the Botanical gardens you are in a different world. The gardens are very well maintained and much bigger than you may think, going all the way to the sea cliffs. The Dalias were in bloom for us and were just stunning. The outdoor model railroad needs work, but it is a plus to see. (Hopefully it will continue to be worked on and maintained, as it really adds to the experience.) An easy way to spend a few hours, even our 7 year old son was interested enough to stay without complaints (a real plus when traveling!)
