One of our favorite places to go to as a family. We love going and walking thru the grounds. Great local history. Be warned. Cash or check for your entrance fee. They don't accept cards.

The Empire MIne State Historic Park has beautiful grounds. It is interesting to tour the various buildings, but if you want to go into the mine, have comfortable shoes and be prepared to wait for the tour.
