        A very beautiful and classy store with many different shops. They carry the most unique and beautiful home decor items, chandeliers, antiques, vintage items, artwork, photography, gifts of all types, hand painted furniture, handmade items, clothing, hand made jewelry. They have a huge bbq section that is amazing and one of the shops sells the most delicious pies and ice cream. A very friendly and fun place to spend a day shopping. Take a friend because you will be there for hours. They also have an amazing restaurant attached where you can enjoy a delicious lunch.

        We selected a pair of cast iron black crows at THE EMPORIUM and because they were heavy took them to the counter to be held while we continued to shop. My husband was so excited because he had been looking for just the right pair. We had a nice conversation with the employees about how far we had traveled to come to the antique shops in Castle Rock. We continue to shop. When we made our way back to the counter to pay for the crows, we were handed a bag with the crows already wrapped and ready. Imagine our surprise when we got all the way home and unwrapped our treasure only to find that one crow had a broken wing and the other had a broken talon. We know it didn't happen on the way home because if it had, the broken pieces would have been in the wrapping paper and or bag. There were no pieces. THE EMPORIUM must have figured it was a opportunity to unload a broken set, knowing we would not be able to easily return our purchase. For that, we will never grace their business again and will happily share our experience with anyone and everyone.
