Just Fish

I have been visiting this store for almost a year. The condition of their salt water tanks are horrible. I keep returning in hopes they clean up their tanks. They are full of red cyno and hair algae. I have never purchased a fish from Just Fish that lived more than a week. I have maintained a healthy stock of reef fish for over 5 years and am not a noob to the hobby. Their no returns and no refund policy is unacceptable considering the poor quality of their tanks and water chemistry. My last visit to the store resulted in my husband being scolded like a five year old child by the female owner of the store. Poor customer service and poor quality tanks, water chemistry, and I won't mention their prices are double of what most fish stores are selling for. I will not be returning and advise anyone serious about their saltwater tanks to stay away.

I would not recommend this store. This is the 2nd bad experience with them. Bought a snake few weeks ago - called last week due to not eating & the woman said it's probably in "shed" & snakes won't eat then - last night it died. I called today & she said no guarantee after you leave the store but we were told before we bought it there was a guarantee & also said "all our snakes here are doing fine" so sorry. They don't stand behind their animals - it's all to make a sale! Poor Customer Service & Product Knowledge!

I was in there today. Reminded me of another aquarium store from my old neighborhood. I dealt with the owner and she knows her stuff. Great help! Fish all looked lively and so far mine are looking great in my tank. She gave me info on testing my water - I'm on a well - and it was great. Easy ph fix. I like going to a small business as well. They know what they are talking about. Not like the part timer at PetCo who really doesn't have extensive knowledge on the animals in the store. And as far as the one reviewer with the dead animals - I saw no such thing going on in there. It may not be new and shiny like the big box stores, but they know their stuff! Give them a shot! I know I will be back!

Today was the first and last time I will come here. This is the Filthiest pet shop I was ever in. You have to go there just to see there Shelves and there supplies. You better bring a flashlight with you. The whole store is dingy.

Stay far away from this store. Horrible customer service when it comes to backing up their products. Brand new 40 gallon tank that cycled with no fish for 2 months. Purchased two fish and in two days covered in ick. They refused to take any responsibility even after they tested the water three times. For $24 they lost a customer for life not to mention the amount of people I have talked to about this location. Wont even mention the lack of cleanliness and dead animals in cages.

I've been shopping at the store for many years. It is family owned and opperated by great people. They have quality fish and supplies along with the knowledge to back it all up.

I have been in the aquarium hobby for over 30 years. I have seen many stores, I even visit local stores when I am on vacation. Just Fish and their employees are honest. Many people get upset when the honest answer to their question wans't what they wanted to hear. They are a family business. Pops is at the front whenever I go there - Its kinda nice. I have seen algae in their tanks but an expert hobbiest knows it comes with the territory.The livestock always looks good - not to say I have never seen a fish or two having a hard time because no one is perfect and new fish take time to settle in. I have been a customer of Just Fish since they opened many years ago. I moved to the area in 1990 and I believe they had just opened.

I tried this store in an a tempt to start up an African Chiclid tank. The store personnel is very friendly and wants to help you succeed. They walked through everything step by step with me. And got me started up with minimal stress on me and my new fish. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is thinking of starting up a tank or anyone who is skilled in the hobby.

i went to just fish and bought at least 20 fish total and they all died in at least 2 days this is the worst store in the world. I would not recommened this store in fact, i think the store should be shut down. Also i have a tiger oscar that I had for 6 months, about 3 months ago i gave his 60 feeder fish from just fish now 3 months later he is suffering from hole in the head and has parasites eating at him and under his scales causing him to hit on the side of the tank trying to scratch his self. i hope no one supports this store EVER.
