General Info: The Art Association of Harrisburg, founded in 1926, is a hub of Central PA cultural events. The galleries in the historic Governor Findlay Mansion across from Riverfront Park provide exhibition opportunities for artists both regional and nationwide. The Art Association of Harrisburg is the oldest Harrisburg gallery, also offering popular art classes for children and adults in Central PA. AAH sponsors many cultural events as well, such as "The Bal Masque," Harrisburg's Mardi Gras, and the "Art of Food" competition.
