Overall
how awful

If you want you kid to get bit by a rattler snake than this is the place to go- 4 times seen on the trail. This is an awful place, dirty, and the animals are mistreated and do not have the proper care, and are treated mean. Then not to talk about the staff- they are rude and unfriendly. They get money for 400 volunteers, but only probably have 10, but they never stick around because they do NOT treat them properly. So if you need to volunteer somewhere DO NOT GO THERE!

Overall

One of the finest nature centers in the West and the first in the intermountain area. Beautiful green buildings and low water use landscaping are inspiring. Its a beautiful place. lots of trails and live birds of prey on exhibit. I like the interpretive signs and activities available. Ponds have bird blinds and there is a stroller accessible tree house.
