Worst customer service. I've read other ratings and I agree completely. The staff wasn't too bad, but is not knowledgeable enough to work at an aquarium like this. The owner was condescending and rude.

I've been coming here for a bit. My only issue is that I get did stories about the salt water tank what to keep in it and what not to. When to acclimate seahorses and starfish and when not to. All I'm all everything I have gotten has been great and I love it here. I have read several paat reviews and I am guessing g things changed because everyone asks me if I need help and there are happy people every where. As far as the phone thing goes I've only seen them on the phone talking to a customer and usually they tell that person to hold on a min. I have a great shopping experience so far I hope it stays that way cause this is the only place that has what I need.

If I could give it no stars I would - sought this place out after a recommendation and boy was I disappointed and wish I read this site first. Purchased 2 fish a yesterday and now 1 is dead - the other is completely fine however. Called and just tried to inquire about the policy on this - very rude girl answered the phone and was basically insinuating that it was my fault - she asked if i had my receipt when i couldnt provide her with the exact type of fish - when I told her that I did in fact have my receipt - it was like the rudeness became worse - finally I said I would just come into the store since she had such an attitude And as I hung up on her I could hear getting louder as I pulled the phone from my ear - Terrible customer service and I will be sure to spread the word that customer service here is awful! Shame on Me - should have done my research first

Worst customer service ever! A...

Worst customer service ever! After spending hundreds of dollars on various supplies for my turtles over the past year I purchased a cement cave for my new tank. I specifically asked the guy if this item is suitable for turtles and I was assured everything will work fine. What I didnt see coming is my turtles trying to take bites of the thing and rubbing their shells up against it. Now my aquarium and filtration system is filled with small white pieces of concrete. My Magnum 350 PRO filter has a damaged impeller and now functions at half capacity and my turtles looks terrible, no appetite or energy to do anything. To make the matters worse, the owner told me to beat it because he didnt want to take a $60 loss. So much for making it right for the customer, he didnt even offer store credit. Ignorant fool, I hope the $60 was worth the thousands of $$$ I would have spent over the course of the next 40 years of my turtles lives (tanks, stands, filters). Shop at your own risk, the owner will cheat you out of your money!

Best fish store I know of

Aquarium Center has a great selection of fish and plants, and it is by far the best fish store I have been to in the area. It is important to know when they get new shipments of fish however, as I have gone there times when there were tons of fish, and other times when there was hardly any. The fish seem healthy for the most part, but they may be a bit pricey. Customer service isn't anything special however, and it seems that most of the time the staff just tries to avoid customers, and you will never hear "May I help you?".

My experience at the this store has been nothing but great! I'am a Discus collector and every discus that i have purchased from this store has been healthy and strong.I love their selection of discus and the staff really seems to care and is willing to help and answer any questions. Sometimes you may have to wait but is not a problem for me. They once gave me a discount on a fish and also if they are having trouble with their PH levels or water conditions, they will not sell you a fish until the problem has been corrected, I really appreciate their honesty! All in all.... I give this store a thumbs up!

Visiting this place is like a trip to the Adventure Aquarium. My kids love the shark tank and are amazed how much they grow each time we visit. The owner is a gentleman. The employees are helpful. We've bought a 150 marine tank from them and all the fish, too. Delightful experience to shop here.

Rude & Unknowledgeable

I got a Green Spotted Puffer and Figure 8 Puffer here, they keep them in freshwater even though they are supposed to be in brackish. The staff can be very rude. There's times when I've went in there and waited a half hour for someone to ask me if I needed help. It's so hard to find a nice aquarium store.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They specialize in aquarium products. Unlike the large chains where you're sorting through dog and cat food only to find a limited selection of aquarium supplies, and high school kids who don't enjoy their job. I moved an hour away from the Aquarium Center and still shop there.

No refunds and no exchange very ignorant

Over the last 8 months I have spent over 4000.00 at this store. I have had a salt water tank for awhile now and all fish are fine. I went in and spent 340.00 on three fish and the next morning one was dead. Upon return the sales person said no refunds or warranties I tried explaining I just purchased the fish and they were very rude and ignorant. I am now out 45.00 and will never return to the store again.

Over priced NO REFUNDS! Go else where!

Store employee sold me a fish assuring me my frog and fish would be fine together. I took the fish home and frog they sold me and put them in a tank, well 2 minutes later frog was going after the fish so I removed the fish and went back to store. It had been not even 15 minutes since I had bought the frog and fish they would not take the fish back stating no refunds. Finally the extremely rude girl at the counter said they would evaluate the fish over the weekend,(it had been 15 minutes since I bought it) to which I protested. I paid cash $23 for this fish not a fortune but enough to make me mad. Then proceeds to tell me I must get something in the store even though the employee guaranteed the fish and frog would be fine together! I will never go to this store again! I have spent over a $1000 at this store over the years what a way to treat a repeat customer.
