Although we've lived in Texas our whole life and this Museum is nothing but West Texas themed I didn't mind.

We were staying in Pecos because my Husband works in the Oilfield and as you can probably imagine, he travels a lot. He usually leaves me and our two boys home but he decided we could come along this trip. Well we went in search of something to do when my Husband got some free time and we visited The Memory Lane Car Museum, which was completely horrible and I would NOT recommended wasting your time visiting, see my review for further details on that. Then we went to this Museum The West of the Pecos and it was great from the moment we entered the door. They were about to close but they didn't rush us nor did they get mad we came in so late. She was more than polite to my children and my little sister and handed them a souvenir sheriff badge to each of the kids and led us in the direction we needed to be in. When we were finished looking around and snapping a few pictures we entered the giftshop and the world's sweetest lady worked there. She helped each of us pick something and showed us around the shop so we had a better idea of what we might want.

The only complaint I have about this Museum is the stairs are annoyingly creaky! They need to be fixed desperately bad. They creak really bad and it makes you not even want to walk up the stairs and that's where most of the museum is. If they fixed that, they'd be perfect!
