Fort Bedford Museum

Highly recommended museum, visited here last year on a whim and am going back. A very nice collection of local Bedford Fort artifacts and displays. The Fort is a great place to take childern due to its interactive displays and content. Rooms full of old wagons, clothing and artifacts from the old fort, There are two floors to explore and a lot of fun and learning to be had. Sits right in the middle of downtown Bedford with free parking so after your trip to the museum you can walk to downtown's dozens of antique stores. Also not far from the world famour Giant Coffee Pot which is a must stop photo moment. Allow at least two hours to fully explore the museum and another couple of hours for downtown.
