My friend and I were only allowed one lane. Had we gone in separately and ordered our lanes that would have been fine. H & H could have had double the money for half the time. Another day, I rented a 38 special. I bought ammo but did not use it all. I thought I would rent the 357 next trip and use up the ammo. Every time you rent, you have to buy new ammo! I told them that I had purchased the ammo last time and they said that I had taken it out the door so they couldn't be sure what I had done to it! They can tell that I am not out to modify ammo to shoot through their guns. They just want money. FINE just charge an extra $5 if not buying ammo. People can have whatever they want in their bag and shoot it. The trash in the lane room is always overflowing while 8 men roam around behind the counter doing nothing. Brass needs to be swept up every 15 minutes. Employees need to be supervised and given chores. Be flexible in your policies to optimize profitability. Think outside the box!

In the past 6 months or so H&H has had TERRIBLE customer service. My dad has been going there for years and years but now he refuses to give them any business. As for my experience, all the people I had to deal with were very unfriendly, rude, and acted like I was inconvenient to them. I will never go back!!

All I called for was to have the employees that assign lanes, to try (keyword "try") and save 4 lanes next to each other, if possible for our group (12+), so that we might be close to each other. That's it, just try. Response, "No, you have to schedule in advance, pay in advance, etc., etc." Got this response from someone on the lanes, and the Manager (Dan) on duty. This is for Sunday at 4 p.m., 2 hours before they close. (The Sunday we went before, there were plenty of lanes available. And in fact, they gave us the lane next to our's free) So much for thinking we would get that kind of service a 2nd time. Because this outing is scheduled already, we'll go there. NOT next time though.

These guys are terrible. Will not come off their full retail prices. They take more than 24 hours to email an FFL, and several days to check a rifle in. They charged me $75 dollars to transfer a rifle becasue "it was a rifle they could stock". Funny how they don't mention that price increase until you are there to pick up the gun. Maybe I would have bought it there if their prices were not overblown. I like the store, its too bad the staff and owners are too preoccupied with having a "too big to fail" attitude. Simply a poorly run business and I will not be back. Avoid H&H, and give one of the many other gun stores in the metro a chance to serve you.

Helpful for archery

I love H&H! I go there for all my archery needs. My bf decided to buy me a bow for Christmas & I didn't really know much about how to use it. I went to bass Pro first and they had no interest in helping me. Then when I went to H&H not only did they set it up fantastically for me but they also spent 2 hours with just me helping me learn to use it. They have a great staff. Can't say much for the gun people, but the archery is awesome!

guns guns guns

So many guns, and they keep them in stock. Unlike many other places. Great service every single time Ive been there every employee there I encountered was helpful. Prices not bad either biggest draw is they actually have them in stock. A lot of lanes in the shooting range. They have no problem with you collecting your own brass. Will go out of my way to go to h&h, alll dayyy yeaaaaaahhhhh!

Why are so rude!!!

I bought some guns online and they were delivered to H&H four days ago. I have called and asked if they were ready and both times I have been told that I will be called when they are ready...seriously it takes 3-4 days. A anyone else tired of the bad attitude and poor service at that place. The culture there is not customer friendly.

Very condescending when speaking with customers. Do not take the proper time to explain and answer your questions. Basically, they could careless whether they get your business or not. Left feeling frustrated and dismissed.

Bad service, very rude

H & H employees ignored us from the moment we walked in the door, had a couple of questions about rifles and we were ignored by every employee that passed us. We finally flagged someone down to ask about a rifle she quickly gave us a yes answer and then walked away without asking if we needed anything else or referring us to anyone else. I guess they have decided they don't need to be good at service since their overpriced guns sell themselves. What a joke, I will go out of my way to go somewhere else.

Wow, really

Been going to h&h for 14 years. Over the last few, specifically when they expanded the service has gone down and the wait time have gone up, but seriously 2.5 hrs @ 6:30? On top of the girl takingreservations was condescending. Not sure if I was to go back now that there is a range a little closer to me, and new sport stores opening where i can shop for guns. At the very least I will not go out of my way to support this business anymore.

Rude employees

I totally agree with the last reviewer, i was treated very rude when i asked an employee about a knife trade. He acted like i was bothering him! The thing is is that i was going to buy a gun while i was there, maybe two. But since he just rudely walked away from me saying "we don't buy used knives" and not take the time to talk to me, this store lost out on a gun sale. I'll never step foot in this store again!

Good prices and Good range

This place has pretty decent prices, and the range is nice (but small). BUT the customer service sucks!!! I've been to the range 5 or 6 times and the employees are always awful!!
