Every Sunday, from 1-4pm, the Woodruff Arts Center offers free family programming as part of their CREATE series. It involves activities with the theaters at the Woodruff Arts Center and the High Museum. My family and I have attended several this year and they’re always a lot of fun. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon-theater, music, and art-all geared for kids. So far we’ve seen a kid-friendly version of the opera Pirates of Penzance and an interactive Eric Carle storytelling experience in addition to making lots of fun art projects. My kids love it!

Atlanta is so lucky to have such a wonderful symphony orchestra. Take advantage of it. Friday nights they offer a shorter concert for a lesser price, perfect family-friendly event.

Our kids have taken many classes and done many camps here. They do a wonderful job keeping it fun for the kids. We have seen our kids confidence grow though acting.

Alliance theater is the best in the city. They regularly get top actors and actresses with amazing scripts and the audience is high class. They also have an active volunteer program too.
