The preserve is the location for the stewardship department, a greenhouse and native plant nursery. As of 2016, 107 different kind of native plants and trees are grown in the two Greenhouses and native plant beds. The plants are then propogated into the nature preserves. This site also raises quail, bees and monarch butterflies.
