The Frist is a great place to see exhibits. What you may not know is that the Frist Cafe is a really good lunch spot. Grilled paninis are made to order. My favorite is the portobello mushroom. The side salad with baby greens and wasabi ranch dressing is incredible. You can also get fresh cut potato chips. Great prices, food and service.

LOVE this place. They always have great exhibits which rotate every couple of months. One thing about the museum which I love the most is the kids center, where kids all ages can get involved in creating art. Their education staff is awesome at connecting with local schools. They also provide summer programs for students.

Nice exhibits, but I wish there were more. They do have fun activities for children that you can find listed in different magazines and on their website.

Cool exhibits...great place to go for field trips...the art quest room is a great place for kids to have some fun and make their own art!

Always something to do and free for students. We have enjoyed the various exhibitions. The Italian fashion was great as well as the Michael Angelo sketch exhibition. There is a maker space on the top floor open year round and they have wonderful special nights with music and other live performances. Wonderful part of the Nashville entertainment scene. Great value.

A great museum a short walk from the city center in the re-purposed former Nashville Main Post Office. I enjoyed he contrast of the institutional art-deco architecture of the 1930s and the modern visual arts exhibitions. Definitely checking in on the current exhibitions if you are in town.

Very much enjoyed the Phantom Bodies exhibit when we visited last week. On a whim, we joined the docent-guided tour. Our docent was charming and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
