The Vermilion County War Museum in Danville Illinois is a very nice museum that has a great amount of war artifacts and memoriabila. The staff is very knowledgeable and has a lot to talk about when it comes to the wars. Donations are welcome, and I donated as I looked around the museum. The hours are bit short, but its well worth the time spent to gain an insightful look at the wars of our history. They have everything from the British war to the War on Terror. Numerous medals, pics, uniforms, guns, knifes, and even old liquor bottles. This place would be great for a school trip or a little family trip for some good old fashion education. I am definitely going back and would recommend this museum to anyone who enjoy a good learning experience.
