Service

Bermuda is a good LFS but they used to be better, now they have way less experienced people and subpar customer service. If you’re in the area try Fish Mania in East Ridge, great selection, great prices, and the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever talked to in the reef keeping hobby.

I travel all over the eastern united States for business. As a way to get my aquarium fix while away from my own tank, I check out as many of the local fish stores as possible in what ever city I happen to be in.
Bermuda Triangle is BY FAR one of the best if not THE best store I have visited in my travels. They have the best selection of both salt and fresh water of any store I have been in. The tanks are spotless and the fish and corals in good if not excellent health. As such, whenever I know I'll be driving through Tn., I will make the time to visit this store.
Their staff are the envoy of stores all over the country. Those guys know their stuff. If one of them doesn't know the answer to your question, they will ask fellow staff members, if no answer is reached, they have no problem going on line to get the information you need. Many times they have talked me out of buying an expensive fish for a cheapper one. They had rather completely miss a sale than sale you a fish that would cause problems. Even it was just because they didn't think the fish would survive the drive back to Kentucky where I live.
If you don't want friendly service, then drive right on past these guys. From the time you walk in the door until you leave, they treat you like family. Never once have I walked through the door and NOT been greeted. They never fail to ask about my tank and how it's doing. They even go so far as to bring out a styrofoam cooler when the see me coming.
Between Church, Jungle, and Garcia ( nick names I assume ), they have all you're aquarium needs taken care of.

For those of you that are complaining about their prices, think about this: Bermuda Triangles level of experteise does not come cheap. If you want to give your money to some kid just looking for a paycheck just to get a cheaper price, then go right ahead. If you want friendly expert service, then your going to pay a little more for their product. Good help don't come cheap.

Went to get a fish for my husband's birthday. Saw a freshwater teacup stingray, thought it was awesome. Asked a lot of questions because I had never had one. We have a 55 gallon aquarium. The guy seemed knowledgeable and said that the other fish I had, a pleco, would be fine with the stingray and that the stingray would stay pretty small until about 10-15 years and that.my tank should be able to keep him. when I got home, I read online that my tank was WAY too small and that the ray would grow at least 12" in diameter within 2 years and that a 200 gallon aquarium was recommended. Also, read that the pleco is not good for the ray as it will suck the protective layer off of the ray. Well, that's what happened. The pleco killed my ray by sitting on top of him and sucking his skin off. I am so angry and hurt that I was lied to, just for them to make a sale, which I spent $100 on the ray alone. Will NEVER go back to Bermuda triangle!!!

Excellent store

I have been shopping at Bermuda for 6 years off and on. I love this store. Tanks are always stocked. Prices may b a bit higher but u r buying quality and expertise. I also realize this is a retail store. Also while prices are a bit higher. But i also notice the location and overhead of this buisness. You have a problem they know how to fix it. You want a product they will get it for you. I will continue shopping there. And I don't agree with some of these other reviews on here.

Looking into buying a Marinela...

Looking into buying a Marineland cube 45 gal. aquarium and the Marineland.com site gave this store as one of the dealers. I called about a week ago and asked if they had this aquarium and the man who answered hatefully said "We don't carry that brand." It was fine that they don't carry the brand but what I didn't like was how hateful he was about it!! I work in customer service for an insurance company so I know that is not acceptable, even if you are having a really bad day. I will not even go to this store once I have my aquarium set up. I hope this was just a one time thing and they are not always like this. The man who answered the phone at Fish Mania (one of the other listings on the Marineland.com site, along with Pet Care Warehouse) was extremely friendly. I will use one of these other places for my fish needs that can't be handled at PetSmart or Petco. I told several people about this incident and one man I work with who uses both Bermuda Triangle and Fish Mania said he has never had any problems with them so maybe the man who answered the phone should be handling the "behind the scenes" aspect of the business and not customer service.

Overpriced inventory!!! We were in the market for a skimmer and were shopping around for one. While visiting this store, we were "persuaded" by the salesperson to give one of their products a try. Turns out, the item was marked up $130.00! We called to have them price match the difference & they won't do it. Nor, will the accept the unopened product for a return. Crappy store policies+ shoddy, liar salespeeps=bad business & BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Don't do it

This guy " good intentions maybe" , just really is interested in your money. I have been mislead and disregarded on multiple occassions. It would seem if you don't have 100 dollar bill in your hand your nobody. The follow up customer service is just plain bad. I was given wrong information and when i followed it I lost all of my purchase. They just say sorry that happens or you must have a predator... Well, sometimes that may be true but own up to your bad advice and take responsibility. Not to mention the prices are just crazy compared to my new favorite store " Fifth Day Creations" They have 5-10 times the selection and better prices. Moreover, theyre nice to people and actually value there customers...

Ok end rant...
