Free Parking -- Save your “meter change” for something more fun. We have plenty of free parking for cars and buses. Accessibility -- The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac has designated parking for disabled and is wheelchair accessible. Noise-reducing headphones, Social Storybooks, and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) are available at the front desk at all times. Picnic Tables -- Pack a lunch and enjoy a shady spot to eat or rest on one of our many colorful picnic tables. Thanks to the following organizations for donating, building, and painting our tables: Docking Station -- It’s hard to pack lightly when traveling with little ones. We know! That’s why we are happy to offer a convenient storage area for strollers and lockers for coats and other belongings. Port-Apotty: Family-Friendly Bathrooms -- We have two family bathrooms equipped with changing tables. Our Pirates and Mermaids bathrooms are specially designed with little ones in mind. Each have a kid-size toilet and wash station. Lounge du Lac -- Looking to refuel or relax with your little one? Our Lounge du Lac is designed exclusively for the quick reprieve from play-time. This space is open to all visitors and may not be reserved for parties. (For party space, please check out our amazing Celebration Central room.) Le Cordon Kids -- Everything and the kitchen sink! Our kitchen space, Le Cordon Kids, is fully equipped with refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, counter space and sink. This space is great if preparing treats for a birthday party or other event held in the museum. It’s also used for our culinary programming. Celebration Central -- Celebrate a birthday, family reunion, graduation, and more in our party room. Sinks, counter space, tables and access to a kitchen help turn your event into a memorable celebration. Access to Lakeside Park -- The Children’s Museum is within walking distance of Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park. With over 400 acres of open recreational space on the south end of Lake Winnebago, Lakeside Park is a great place to extend your visit or field trip. -- Edgewood Community Church in Waupun -- Ascension Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac partnering with a community service group from Belize -- Paul Osterholm and Fond du Lac’s Habitat for Humanity
