- The Athens-Limestone Visitors Center is situated on the corner of Big Spring Memorial Park in a historic building that first served Athens as its Utility Building. The building has been fully restored with architectural features of the early 1900's when the building was first erected to pump water from the natural spring in the park to downtown Athens.
