Loved the Fury 325, Intimidator, and Nighthawk roller coasters. They're awesome. Loved the short lines (on a Monday). Liked having lots of restrooms and the cleanliness of the park generally. Liked the friendly employees. Did not like several naked grabs for cash: the $9 "processing fee", $20 to rent a locker for the day, and especially, the rides that wouldn't allow you to bring your refillable cup in, but they have a temporary locker you can rent for $4. That's B.S. Not a fan of "camera people" that try to make you pose as you enter the park. Also think that if you're gonna put "y'all" on a sign, you should spell it right!

Ok people, do you expect theme parks to be a fairytale castle? Of course the bathrooms aren't the greatest as yours might be at home; it's what you call PUBLIC restrooms! All in all, Carowinds is a great place to go to. Ok, so the food is a little expensive...3 words...PACK A LUNCH! It's not that hard...They don't care if you bring a cooler and eat in your car. You just can't bring your food inside! I will admit that the lines are long, but the rides are great! The water is not filthy!!! They keep the water clean. Not one day have I been there and the water was gross! People are rude everywhere! There's nothing you can do about it. I could spend hours at Carowinds if I could! And ticket prices really went down now. I strongly disagree with these negative reviews. Also, how would leaves and dirt be in the pool?! The water park is right in the middle of Carowinds...no leaves around OR DIRT! Even if the lines are long, it'll all be worth it after your visit(:

Went there for two days and did not like anything about it!
First day (waterpark)
The lines were extremely long and nobody listened. We got in the small wave pool and was aghast at the amount of crap that was in the water. Leaves and dirt where in the pool floating everywhere, no effort was made. To clean it. Then we went to the lazy river!!! Yaaay-- no, the water is two and a half foot deep and I couldn't see my feet at all! It was filthy, short, and had no perks. Also, the huge wave pool was crowded and this kid kept elbowing me and rubbing against my side. I also didn't even attempt the slides the lines were INSANE!!
Day two (rides)
I had to walk very far to get to the depressing bathroom which were made in like the 60's (they were in horrible condition) the lines were 1 1/2 hour wait each. The lines for any food was insane and the food tasted horrible.

Alot of people were rude and pushed you out of the way and didn't care. The directors of the rides seemed like they didn't care about you.. Did I mention how expensive things were? 9$ for a special cup and 2 for a refill, 6$ for dippin' dots, 7$ for a small personal pizza. Did I mention that the ticket prices are insane?
Suggestion: Don't waste your time here go to Busch Garden or something
