Dr. Carter and his team were excellent!! I received my Lasik 7/6/17, the next day I could see clearly with no pain at all!! Thank You, Dr Carter, I haven't seen this clear in 15 years!! ��������

My name isJudy Nicholson, my husband and myself have had cataracts removed from our eyes. We are both very happy with the results. Dr. Carter and his associates are wonderful. and we highly recommend Carter Eye Care.

WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL
I went to Carter Eye Center and had the same experience as many on here. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment so I could complete all the paperwork before my appointment time which I did. 35 minutes past my appointment time when no one had said a word to me I went back to the receptionist and asked if I had possibly written down the wrong appointment time. No she told me it was 35 minutes ago. She went to the back, I assumed to get me a status but upon her return she walked right past me without even looking at me.

Another 15 minutes passed and still no one had said anything, no we’re running late or please bear with us. I will not spend thousands of dollars with someone so unprofessional and so disrespectful of my time. I cancelled my appointment nearly an hour after its’ scheduled time and left.
Many online reviews of this place all say the same thing, I wish I had read them first; I would never have gone and could have accomplished something with the two hours they cost me traveling and sitting.

I originally had cataract surgery done by a butcher surgeon (Eye surgical assoc Illinois) They left me with 20/400 in my right eye. 4 years later I found Dr. Carter. He Fixed my 20/400 right eye vision to have 20/40!!! Awesome job Dr. Carter! I travel 5000 miles to see Dr. Carter! IT'S WORTH IT! Again, Thank You! Tim Tomlinson

First of all I wanna say Im very happy with my 20/20 vision now! I highly recommend Dr Carter and his staff. My friend was impressed with Dr Carter and the results after her Lasik surgery so i decided to follow her recommendations. I am from another country and i was so scared Doctor and his staff wouldnt be able to understand me but they took a good care of me, spent a lot of time with me explaining everything in details.Dr Carter is a great professional, he answered all my questions about my eyes situation, eye drops regimen. Kimberly was very nice and patient with me! I asked so many questions and she was very caring and patient, explained me lasik procedure step by step, helped me a lot to apply for credit care card which made my surgery affordable. She scheduled free transportation for me right after the surgery and i was taken home right away. The van driver is the kindest person ever! I felt dizzy after Vallium and he did his best to take me home asap, walked me to my apartment door and was waiting until i get inside! I read some 1star reviews below and i totally disagree with them! Yes, it takes some time to wait until Doctor and his staff review the results, but hey! You are not in the nails or lashes studio! And for those who say everybody is rude out there- absolutely not! They are nice, friendly and serious about what they say.

Carter Eye Center gave me an appointment and then took 2+ hours to see us. I'm very upset and unhappy by my treatment. They were rude and unprofessional and wasted my time. When I see a doctor, they are on my employee and I've fired Dr. Harvey Carter as my doctor. Absolute horrible service! Patient beware!!!! =(

It has been 7 days from when I had my surgery and first of all, I need to say that the doctor - Dr. Harvey Carter - and the staff were wonderful. Next, I CAN SEE WITHOUT GLASSES!! I took advantage of the offer they were having which made the procedure really affordable. I am thankful to everyone at Carter Eye Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a notice saying my vision plan was about to expire. When I called to ask about it, I was informed that, not only were these “sent out in error”, but that my 1 included lifetime fix was invalidated due to not having been to him annually, which was never mentioned to me as a condition. I can understand notices being sent out in error, but the “warranty” invalidation (as if my eyes are car tires) is too much to tolerate. The “warranty” paperwork, of which I was not given a copy, was offered to me over the phone at the time of inquiry for $25 for the first 20 pages and .50 for each page after. I understand this is a way to cause warranty invalidation, but is at the cost of extremely dissatisfied ex-patients. The warranty is 1 of the reasons I chose him in the first place, at the cost of several thousand dollars for everything. I have for the most part been happy with my lasik, except for the slightly blurry right eye I have mentioned to him several times. The exams have indicated my vision in that eye was 20/20, yet when I read road signs, I sometimes have to either wait until I get right up to them to read clearly, or close my right eye. I did not press the right eye issue because I THOUGHT I could save the 1 fix for if my eyes did start degrading. That option has apparently been removed. I am thoroughly unhappy now, and would like to see a reasonable solution to this, rather than “Sorry, your warranty’s invalidated. Go away.”

I had lasik at Carter Eye Center in Dallas Texas and I had a really great experience. I had a friend that got vision correction with Carter Eye Center a couple of years back and she is so happy that she did so I decided to go with someone that I knew was competent and very capable. My eyes are one of the biggest things that I could have surgery on. I am really glad that I took her advice.



I went in for the initial consultation at Carter Eye Center to see if I could even get the surgery (which I could.) We talked about pricing and financing and I was really happy that they were able to put me on a payment plan and made the payments really affordable to me.

I then went in on the day of surgery and Dr Harvey Carter put me at ease and calmed my nerves. HE started talking about something else that made be get my mind off of the procedure. It was very quick and painless.



Then, I had my follow up visit at Carter Eye Center and found out that I had 20/15 vision in both eyes. Overall, I could not be happier with my decision to get LASIK at Carter Eye Center.

I had a really great experience with Carter Eye Center. I decided to get intraLASIK surgery from them and I can not imagine having a better experience. They were very responsive to everything I asked, all my questions were answered AND I now have perfect vision. There really isn't anything else that I would have liked better. It might not be the most personalized experience that I have ever had but all in all, it was perfect for what I needed.



The surgery was very quick and I was able to do a payment plan that is great. I really think that I will be saving money in the long run but most importantly, I will be saving time!!!

DR. CARTER DID LASIK TO MY EYES BACK IN 2003, AND I WENT IN FOR A FOLLOW UP VISIT AND STILL HAVE 20/20 VISION..... I AM GLAD I NEVER CHOSE ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!!!

My husband had his eye exam at Carter Eye Center. He is diabetic and the Dr.'s there were very sensitive to his special needs. He bought glasses from the first class optical shop and was very please with the on going service given by Michelle. Thank you Carter Eye Center

Dr. Carter and his staff were very helpful and nice. And my eye sight? It's never been better! I have recommended Dr. Carter and his staff to several of my friends and family and all have been as happy with their results as I have been! Thank you Dr. Carter and everyone involved in giving me quality eye sight!

Nice new office easily accessible from expressway. Very friendly staff and attentive to patients. The doctor is a pro and I came here for a second opinion. Would recommend.
