        Established in 1982, Siouxland Paramedics is a nonprofit organization that provides tiered response paramedic service to the entire Siouxland tri-state area. It is the sole 9-1-1 ambulance provider and works with the Sioux City Fire Department. Siouxland Paramedics maintains a fleet of ambulances and serves more than 10,000 patients each year. Siouxland Paramedics offers emergency medical training programs and its Bike Medic program organizes special events, such as Saturday in the Park, Rivercade, Alzheimer Walk and Diabetes Walk.
