The customer service is horrible. The spiel is so memorized they whip through it and don't cover everything, information provided initially is incorrect when the RV is returned. Thus resulting in extra fee's. It's clear this company likes to nickel and dime you and customer service is out the window. The manager didn't even care when her employee, Kelly, was extremely rude.



We were told bring the RV back clean with no trash or anything, since we clean them anyway there will be no cleaning fee. I vacuumed several times a day and we were still charged a $25.00 fee for dog hair clean up. Since I vacuumed and cleaned I know for a FACT they were trying to get more money because the RV was clean.



No one ever showed my husband where the dump hose was located and he was told it was $10.00 for them to dump so we went that route. When I saw another $25.00 for for dumping Kelly argued with me that someone showed him the hose and it was clearly marked and that no one ever told him the fee was $10.00. Being first time renters I expected a business renting out an expensive vehicle to take their time when going over how things work.



On our way home we stopped and put gas in the RV to return it with the amount it left with. We were told to return it with 3/4 of a tank. So we put that amount in the tank, and then we were billed by Cruise America $5.50/gal for a total of $75.63 for 13 gal of gas. Why we would go as far as putting $80.00 in and then deciding to not put the amount needed to be charged $5.50/gal was not even a question Kelly would answer. It makes no sense to me, all I can come up with is again to nickel and dime customers they aren't checking the gas gauge correctly or on an even surface.



I will not be renting from this location ever again, neither will friends and family. Customer service dies more and more every day, as a business owner myself and growing up with my folks being business owners I know making sure the customer is happy means good reviews and potentially more business. The folks that work at the Cedar Hill location for Cruise America don't care about the customer, just making an extra dollar.
