Lumberjack Tree Service

I found this company on Google and I couldn't be happier. I left a message on the office voicemail one evening and my call was returned at 8 the next morning. The girl that did the scheduling was very friendly and polite. She said that Derek had a crew available and they could be at my house that morning. Derek arrived exactly when promised. He walked my property with me and we discussed my options and how much work needed to be done. He had extensive knowledge of the types of trees I had and how they are best trimmed for their health, maintenance, and overall appearance of my property. I was so impressed with how helpful he was and how patient he was with a single mom that doesn't even ever think about trees. Derek made me feel very comfortable at all times and he gave me a price that was significantly lower than the other quotes I had in the past. They did the work in a few short hours at the agreed upon price in less than 24 hrs after the initial call!

Crew led by Matt did a good job with the tree trimming. Matt was very patient, easy to work with, and continued to trim until I was satisfied. My neighbors have complimented on the good work. I will call Lumberjack for my next trimming.

We used Lumberjack after a different contract service did not show up and did not return calls. We actually had a tree blow over onto a neighbors house during a storm. I received a verbal quote as well as an e-mailed quote. Although a fee was omitted from the quote, Mr. Hebert graciously stood by the quote that was given. This is a Christian company, and I believe Mr. Hebert is a fair individual with integrity. I was hesitant about the hourly/ per person rate (given when a job is not actually seen) but I was pleasantly surprised to see the men on the job working as quickly as they could. The men who completed the job were courteous and professional. This company is also a member of the Better Business Bureau and has not had any complaints in the last 36 months--you can check this out on the Better Business Bureau web site. These companies (BBB members) seem to have higher standards of service and value. I would use this company again:)

Thank you Lumberjack Tree Service for being so professional and very prompt in coming to our aid in taking care of our tree that needed to be removed as well as pruning our bushes that made our home look so much better. The three men you sent out was very courteous and you could tell they knew what they were doing.Your estimator when he came out was very nice to deal with and so were you, Mr. Hebert. Even though your estimator had given us we thought a good price for all the work we needed to have done, you explained about your price per hour per each man you sent out and saved us even more money because they worked so fast.I want to tell you that not every company does that for their customers.Your foreman even pointed out on another tree in the yard that a couple of limbs needed pruning because they were going to be in the way of the electrical lines that might cause us problems.We highly recommend you to anyone who would need your services. The crew did a good job. I can't say we have the best-pruned trees on the block, but my expectations were exceeded as far as the amount of work that was accomplished (I have 15 trees on my property). I did not get estimates so I cannot comment on how they compared price-wise with other services.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this service. My budget was blown because the owner neglected to tell me that his estimate did not include tax. There were also several other "misunderstandings" (some of which was my fault) that eventually led to me rating this service with only two stars.The owner has become extremely agitated and verbally abusive. He left a very threatening voice mail at my place of employment threatening me to remove this review "or else".Again, his crew were very nice men. They worked moderately hard. However, if you are easily intimidated, I do not recommend dealing with this service.

I would like to compliment your crew for doing a very nice job with the tree removal and tree triming at my home. They met my satisfaction in every way, including the clean up.
