        Excellent Facility and Care by nursing staff

        I had surgery at Pine creek medical center on June 17 th,2014 for Tarlov Cyst, I stayed in the hospital 4 days and besides the air conditioning breaking on the day I had surgery and wasn't fixed while I was there I did have a wonderful nursing staff that was very caring especially "Dave" my nurse for two of the nights, he made my stay so much better by making me laugh even when I didn't feel like it. I would definitely recommend this facility and Dr.Fiegenbaum.

        I stayed two nights at Pine Creek and the nurses were excellent, however the respiratory therapist that was assigned to me was horrible, disrespectful and kept pestering me to breathe into his little machine. He kept telling me to take my inhaler and I told him to just leave me alone. He made me feel very uncomfortable and was rude on top of that. I had to finally ask one of my family members to tell the head nurse about this guy and to stay out of my room. I could not defend myself because I had a major back surgery and I could barely move. If I ever have surgery again I will go somewhere else where I will be treated with respect

        If you do not have to use this facility,i would strongly suggest you DONT.The intake staff is rude.If you have to stay over night,the nursing staff is poor at best.It was like they were doing me a favor if I had to get up to use the restroom,or needed something.The bed they made me stay in was like a gurney,not a bed.The padding or "mattress"on the "gurney" was about 3 inches thick,not very comfortable for a two day stay.Now that I had the pleasure to experience their facility....I do not think I would take my two dogs there if they were ill,I love them too much.
