I wanted to tell you that Susan Spencer and her father LaVerne were so helpful in helping me in selecting an engagement ring. I just read the below review and understand how hard it is to provide an accurate quote over the phone without ever seeing the product in question. I won't hesitate to continue doing business with the Spencer family.

Called proprietor, Sue Spencer to inquire about having them set a saphire into an engagement ring...both being provided by me. She said she have to see both before giving me a quote...which is perfectly fair. But I told her that I need to order the ring and had choices of getting it in 14k white gold or 18k white gold and with a 4 or 6 prong crown and if she could guide me provided that the stone is 1 carat round. She just kept replying that she needed to see both items to give me a quote and that she still might not do the work. I found her to be very rude. So, I called down the street to Newstar Jewelers and gave the man the same information. He said, "Sure, no problem, I can help you figure that out." He suggested that I bring the saphire to him and that he would measure it and help me decide on the number of prongs, etc before I purchase the ring to make it easier and less expensive by getting the correct crown for the chosen gemstone. This is what I expected from Susan Spencer, but instead, I got rudeness. I wouldn't say not to shop at Spencers, because they may have great merchandise. Just don't try to get any information out of them that isn't making them any money...they won't bother.
