I needed a/c service, and told the tech what I believed was the problem (a fan that was making a lot of noise). He disagreed, and spent an hour replacing an expensive part that didn't solve the problem. Finally he said "you're right, it's the fan after all." Of course, I had to pay for all the wasted time - at $1.60 per minute. I was not pleased, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I left a message for the owner expressing my dissatisfaction, and it was ignored.

Kathryn, thanks for the feedback. I can understand the frustration that comes from needing repair service and finding someone trustworthy. Sorry for the late response but we're just finding this review online. We usually send out surveys to improve customer service. If you could give us a call at 314-351-5580 with more details about what happened I'm sure that we can make sure that something like this doesn't happen again.
Bought a $6000 Train furnace and after three years now had to pay 271.00 labor for a motor going out. You don't get what you pay for.....I would have been better off going with the cheaper one and paying if it broke.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, misunderstandings like this happen all the time in our industry. While I can't say that it happens a lot here I do sympathize with you. Trane is an industry leader and usually performs well. However we've taken steps to make sure lower cost similar quality units are available to our customers. Thanks again for the feedback.
