Bliss Nails

I went into Bliss Nails on Friday. I asked for an acrylic full set w/gel paint & color change on my toes, reg polish. The salon is clean & spacious- beautiful really. The nail techs were nice & hospitable. But that's were the excellence of my experience ends.

They upsold me doing the nail dip over gel & they push it hard. The tech assigned 2 me did not glue the fake nails onto my real nails correctly; as there is a gap btw my real nail and the fake nail. She cut my pinkie finger with scissors trying 2 shape the nail extension that she had already glued to my hand. It was not a small cut as the whole process came 2 a halt 2 deal w/ the fact that I was bleeding. While filing my nails, she rubbed my the skin around 2 nails raw w/ the emery board. I ask for a subtle length, which was ignored, & so I acquiesced 2 a longer length bc by this point I had been in the salon for at least 2 hours.Then while the top coat was drying, it clouded up & looked terrible. Another tech came over & explained 2 me that the humidity- which is beyond their control- can make the top coat cloud up really bad. So they used a nail file to scratch off the murky top coat and paint over it again. Ruining the glossy clean look that you are paying a nail tech2 provide- on 6 of 10 nails no less.

In spite of the fact that the more season nail tech saw and witnessed the whole manicure and was aware of the fact that several errors occurred during my 3 hours in their salon, she still felt it was appropriate to charge me full price.

I went back on Monday 2 have them reshape my nails bc they were too long for practicality. The seasoned tech trimmed down the length but did not care 2 make sure that the nail tops were straight anymore, used a high powered nail drill 2 sand more skin raw 2 blister, & when she noticed the gaps between my real nails and the fake nails decided that instead of offering 2 correct the issue properly, she would just shove enough nail glue down the tops 2 fill the gap.
