This place is a total scam. I used their coupon for x-rays, exam and cleaning. Having the x-rays done was very painful. I was in pain for a week or so after. Then she did a cancer screening test, which I did not ask for and didn't know what it was when she did it. The dentist came in and did a short exam. He told me I have 4 cavities that needed to be taken care of. That was all they did. So when the hygienist asked if something was wrong, I said I didn't get my teeth cleaned, which was my whole reason for going. She said she replaced it with the cancer screening. I never asked for the screening. So she went over my teeth very quickly with the polisher. Then charged me $20 more for it. After that, they sent in a finance lady who continuously pushed me to make an appointment for my cavities at $250 per tooth. I'm on disability and don't have that kind of money to just get it done right away. After I left, they hounded me to make an appointment.
I went to a REAL dentist to get fitted for an oral appliance a couple weeks ago. They did x-rays, full exam and told me I didn't have any cavities at all. Not one cavity in my mouth.
So Dental Care tried to scam me out of $1,000. I hope others get a second opinion before giving these scam artists their money.
