- Here at the Brake Shop, we are looking after your needs. At first, it was brakes. We're still very good at that. But there are other factors that sometimes contribute to brake issues, like fluid build ups and leaky axles. So we took on the larger picture, and came up with solutions for the tougher cases to add to your safety and trust. While we tell you what we discover, we do only what you ask us to do at prices quoted up front. If you would like to see what we found on close examination, we will be glad to show you.

Provided by SuperpagesThis shop can't be beat! I can't tell you how many times I have had my vehicle in for a checkup only for Steve to hand me the keys and send me on my way free of charge :) Other times I have needed work done and it is always fast and very reasonably priced. I've never felt like I'm being sold or getting work done that I didn't need. Definitely not your typical shop. Had my car checked out this AM because I had a new noise coming from the wheel well. Steve checked the brakes and front suspension and said there wasn't anything functionally wrong with the car. Tried to send me on my way but I had to give him a $20 tip for his time. What kind of world is this where I feel the need to give my mechanic money, it seems backward haha. I guess it's what comes from getting honest service, couldn't recommend more highly.

Provided by SuperpagesI love this place. If they say it needs to be fixed, it needs to be fixed. Honest, fast, reliable work. They gave me an estimate, the work ended up exceeding it, did it anyway for the quoted price. They've earned a customer for life. Thank you.

I normally handle most of my own work, but I was having a horrid time getting the rear drums off a Subaru Forester in 2009, so after realizing I had not found any good shops in Vancouver yet (Brake Team = Garbage, Ron's Automotive = Unqualified, Gemini = Dishonest), I decided to call Brake Shop on the phone. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about, and sounded honest (I can hear the nonsense as soon as any mechanic starts), so I gave him a try. He quoted me a very fair price over the phone considering I couldn't get the drums off no matter what I tried.
He had the work done perfectly, rather quickly, and was very professional.
Would recommend to anyone, although I am basing this off one experience.
