Beauty Concepts & Day Spa

As a new resident in Bluefield, I received a recommendation to try Beauty Concepts. Wow. I was impressed by the warmth and excellence of the place. They accommodated me in every way. Jessica was excellent. She gave me a wonderful neck massage with scented oil and a super short precision cut! A great Salon!!!

I have always get great service at Beauty Concept. The staff has always made me feel very comfortable. I do have a couple of girls in general that I do prefer to do my business with, only because they make me feel like they really want to help me with whatever my cosmetic problem may be.

I am very pleased with Kathy at Beauty Concepts. I am very picky when it comes to my hair. When you find a good hair stylist you stick with the same one and I have for over 6 years. She is amazing with her cuts and color! I absolutely love Beauty Concepts!!

Horrible service! I made an appointment to get a gel polish manicure which is usually is a 45 minute process only took the women 12 minutes to do my nails and completely ruined them. I asked for a french manicure and the women painted on the gel without caring about the quality and half of the polish that she did put on ended up being on my skin rather than the nail. She filed my nails crooked and didn't even bother to make the edge smooth. She clearly acted like she didn't even want to be there and when I told her I didn't like them she proceed to call me a b**** and white trash. I left extremely unhappy and when I returned around 20 minutes later I asked to speak with the owner and told her what happened. I left out the part out the name calling so that the situation would stay calm because I felt bad for complaining in the first place. The owner than proceeded to tell me that my nails looked fine and she didn't see a problem with them. I just wanted my money back. I honestly could cry because you can tell that they polish will lift off my nail by tomorrow. Also I requested white tips and what the women put on my nails was not white. It's practically translucent. I've seen milk that was less translucent. So disappointed because it seemed to be a nice establishment but don't let it fool you because it was the most horrible experience I have ever had while getting my nails done.
