Snoring
Septoplasty can improve snoring by allowing easier breathing through the nose. When the septum is deviated it causes nasal obstruction and can force us breathe through our mouth which is more likely to result in snoring. Septoplasty however does not typically improve snoring or sleep apnea since these are often caused by obstruction at the level of the throat (soft palate, tongue base).
Primary Care
Your consultation will take place in a private clinical setting in our Bellevue office. Our experienced plastic surgeons will examine you in presence of a female Registered Nurse. They will formulate a Body Contouring Treatment Plan that specifically addresses your cosmetic concerns. They will carefully review your health history and consult with your primary care and bariatric physicians to ensure that you are healthy enough to have body-contouring surgery. Planning procedures of this type takes considerable time. Our plastic surgeon will spend ample time with you to answer all of your questions and review photographs of surgical results. You should plan to spend at least an hour with us for your initial consultation.

There are many causes of ptosis including age related weakening of the muscle, congenital weakness, trauma, or neurologic disease. As we age, the tendon that attaches the levator muscle, the major muscle that lifts the eyelid can stretch and cause the eyelid to fall. This represents the most common cause of a droopy eyelid. Ptosis may also occur following routine lasik or cataract surgery due to stretching of the muscle or tendon. Children may be born with ptosis or may acquire it due to trauma or neurologic reasons.

Breast augmentation is a procedure that enhances the volume and shape of the breast. Women choose augmentation for many different reasons. Some want to feel more feminine or improve self-confidence. They want to fill out their clothing, wear pretty bras that actually fit, be more comfortable in swim suits, evening wear or without clothing. Liposuction
Your own body fat, obtained from liposuction, can be transferred to the breasts to achieve a very natural breast enhancement, without the use of breast implants.
Breast Augmentation
The Lipo Augmentation procedure takes more time to perform in the operating room compared to a breast augmentation using implants. Touch up fat injections are at times needed to balance the appearance between the two breasts.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction is a surgical procedure that reduces excessive breast size, excessive breast weight and repositions drooping nipples. The result is a more aesthetically pleasing breast with a more proportionate size and shape. In addition to the cosmetic concerns, women with excessively heavy and pendulous (hanging) breasts can also develop neck pain, back pain and headaches related to the larger breast size. The physical symptoms, self-consciousness in social settings, and the inability to find properly fitting clothes are the common reasons why many women seek breast reduction surgery.
Breast Lift
The first type of breast lift is known as a periareolar breast lift, also known as a circumareolar breast lift or donut mastopexy. The incisions for this type of breast lift are strictly around the areola.
Rhinoplasty
Asian rhinoplasty is different than the type of rhinoplasty typically performed on Caucasian patients for a number of reasons. With few exceptions, Asians generally require augmentation of the nose (building up the structural support of the bridge and tip) to achieve a pleasing and natural cosmetic result, in contrast to Caucasian patients who generally require reduction of the bridge of their nose. The goal of Asian rhinoplasty is to create an attractive Asian nose, but not to create an attractive Caucasian nose on an Asian face.
Breast Reconstruction
The type of implants involved are Allergan implants that have a certain type of texturing on the surface called Biocell. While widely used in other countries, they represent less than 5% of the implants used in the US. Most of those have been for breast reconstruction, though some surgeons do use them for augmentation. In the case of augmentation, they are usually reserved for patients who opt for implants placed on top of the muscle (subglandular).

Thigh Lift
Thigh Lift The thigh lift (thighplasty) is a surgical procedure that treats the laxity of the inner thigh. Depending on the degree of laxity, the scar may extend along the length of the inner thigh, or maybe limited to the upper thigh region. A lower body lift will also dramatically tighten the outer thigh, and the inner thigh to a lesser degree.
Face Lift
A face lift can reverse many features of the aging face and neck. The most dramatic improvement is seen in the jaw-line and the neck. A face lift may be performed as a stand-alone procedure, or it may be combined with other procedures to help maintain facial balance and harmony.
Neck Lift
Before deciding what type of neck lift you need it is important to understand how the neck ages and what are some of the main features of an aging neck that can be improved with surgery. Sagging neck skin, a double chin, or a turkey neck each have different solutions and experienced plastic surgeons will have a number of neck lift options available to customize to the specific needs of each patient.

Abdominoplasty
An abdominoplasty or tummy tuck procedure can remove excess skin and fat as well tightening the loosened muscles of the abdominal wall to reduce the bulging out of the lower abdomen. The incision is typically well concealed beneath the level of the underwear or a bikini bottom.
Body Lift
Lower Body Lift A lower body lift is an extensive surgical procedure that treats the circumferential laxity of the abdomen, buttocks, and lateral thighs common in MWL patients. This complete rejuvenation is accomplished by removing excess skin and soft tissue around the circumference of the trunk. Flattening of the buttock contour is also treated. There is a noticeable lifting affect of the outside portion of thigh and the buttock with this procedure. The lower body lift scar is kept low on the abdomen, hip and upper buttock region. This scar can easily be concealed beneath a swimsuit or underwear.
Breast Surgery
Implant replacement for silicone breast implants is a very common procedure. The current generation of silicone breast implants was FDA approved in November 2006 for cosmetic use in female patients aged 22 years and older. Now that silicone implants are available for cosmetic breast surgery, many women want their saline implants exchanged for newer generation silicone implants, which have improved shape and tactile qualities.
Otoplasty
The ear cartilage can be molded and secured into a more aesthetically pleasing contour through hidden incisions behind the ear. The results of otoplasty are permanent.
Scar Revision
Lip Augmentation
The most common techniques for lip augmentation involve placement of a temporary filler substance into the lips. Traditionally, the only filler substance available had been collagen, but today a number of more exciting options are available. The most popular fillers used today include Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, and fat. Filler techniques for lip augmentation are performed in the office under topical (ice or numbing cream) anesthesia or local anesthesia (small injections to numb the lips). The recovery time for fillers is quite brief and the longevity of the results depends on the type of filler material used to augment the lips. Other fillers used for lip augmentation include Cymetra, CosmoDerm, CosmoPlast, Zyderm, and Zyplast.
Body Contouring
Body Contouring procedures are usually done on an outpatient basis at our Medicare certified ambulatory surgery center in Bellevue. The goal of all body contouring procedures is an improved body contour with well-concealed surgical scars. Prior to the procedure, a set of detailed markings is made on your body to plan for your procedure. Most body contouring procedures are performed under general anesthesia. Breast and arm contouring procedures can be done under IV sedation anesthesia. Care is provided by a certified anesthesia provider in our Medicare certified operating rooms.
Laser Resurfacing
Fat grafting combined with laser resurfacing can produce a dramatic result without the need for a single incision on the face. Fat grafting and laser resurfacing have a synergistic effect on the face by adding volume, stimulating collagen, and stimulating stem cells. Contrary to surgical face lifts, which have a limit to the number of times they can be performed, this combination can be safely repeated numerous times.

Most cosmetic surgery is performed in doctors' offices. Surprisingly, in most states office based surgery is still relatively unregulated. Forehead Lift
By repositioning the brow to a more natural position, the eyes will appear larger and less tired. A number of brow lifting techniques exist to improve the appearance of the aging forehead and brow region. These include the coronal brow lift, the hairline or trichophytic brow lift, the mid-forehead lift, the direct brow lift, and the endoscopic brow lift. Choosing the optimal procedure depends on many factors including hair-style, density of hair, position of the hair-line, and presence of frown lines. Dr. Naficy is experienced in all modern techniques of brow lifting and custom tailors the procedures to the needs of each patient. After a brow lift, the eyes appear less heavy and more open.

Allergies
Juvederm and Restylane, are the most popular methods for temporary lip augmentation. These fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, a clear gel that is naturally present in the skin and other body tissues. Because it is naturally present in the body, no allergy testing is required. Juvederm and Restylane injections generally last a couple months but individular results will often vary. The material has a very soft consistency and the results of augmentation are similar to results achievable with collagen. Other than lip augmentation, Juvederm and Restylane are used to treat nasolabial creases, marionette lines and droopy corners of the mouth, and the deep vertical lines seen in aging lips.
