I had Chicagoland Flooring refinish the old, vintage floors in my living and dining room. . The job was a challenge because after carpet removal there were a few areas with dark spots and deep cuts.
They were able to replace damaged boards and after sanding and refinishing the hardwood floors turned out very beautiful.

During the visit the industry certified technician went through all of the details about sanding process of older floors and even helped me pick the color for the floor, highlighting the positives and negatives of the different stain and finish choices.
Our vintage floors turned out really nice revealing hidden beauty after many years of neglect. A few damaged board repairs blended really nicely.

After flooding we had our floors removed and reinstalled. A few weeks later our floors became very uneven. Contractor did not know what to do so I found out that Chicagoland Flooring offers certified floor inspections. The inspector tested floors and found out that flooring contractor was without any training and they did not follow steps for proper installation. Unfortunately, because of high moisture levels and damage floors had to be replaced again but having expert opinion we were able to get our money back.
