My parrot, Gomez, went here with a broken leg on a Wednesday. He was allowed to remain with a broken leg, and didn't have surgery until Friday. On Saturday morning Gomez let out several screams, stopped breathing and died. Dr. Molnar said he was shocked as he had done many of these surgeries and he compared Gomez's death to me dying from finger surgery. He offered to do a complimentary necropsy, but I had no idea that meant his version of a necropsy. This included handwritten, illegible reports and refusals to transcribe same. I was simply told that I was to take his word that Gomez's death had nothing to do with him. To add further injury, Dr. Molnar fabricated a story of me taking Gomez home from surgery two days early. He doesn't seem to think this conflicts with telling me to bring him back for a follow-up 10 days later. Lastly, Dr. Molnar tried to compensate me with offering to obtain an unweaned parrot for me.
