Alvarez Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Myself and two of my children have been taking classes for six weeks when the bottom fell out of my life. I lost not only one but two jobs in a week due to kidney stones. On my 2nd job I fractured a rib. I didn't know how we were going to pay for classes and I was devastated. In my 47 years I attended several martial arts studios and this by far away was the best. Mr Alvarez is the most detail-oriented instructor I have ever encountered. That alone made it easier to learn but as if that was not enough, his sense of family rises far above and beyond just learning the martial arts and surpassed by no one. he does not simply preach it he lives it and I'm living proof. His father, Mr. Alvarez Sr, reached out to his sister, who runs a staffing service, and she was able to secure me a position as an electrician apprentice. This BJJ academy is great. The training program is top notch and nothing like any other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School in Grand Prairie, Arlington or Mansfield. Mr. Alvarez is a great instructor and takes the time to get to know all of his many students. I would not go to any other MMA school.

Mr. Alvarez's Jiu-Jitsu Academy is an amazing place in Arlington, TX. The reason for this starts with Mr. Alvarez; he doesn't just worry about getting his paycheck and teaching his students a few moves, he genuinely cares for each of his students in not only regards to their jiu-jitsu, but by giving them the proper skill set to succeed in all aspects of their lives. Another reason Mr. Alvarez's Academy is so great is the family type bond that just naturally comes with training at a place like this; since the day of my first class i have developed great relationships with others at this Academy. The last reason his Academy is so great is that it not only produces great jiu-jitsu practitioners, but also amazing jiu-jitsu competitors. From the time I started training here I can't even think of a tournament that ABJJ has not won or placed in the top 3. Endless possibilities for those that choose ABJJ as their Jiu-Jitsu home.
