The physical therapists and as...

The physical therapists and assistants here are very nice an knowledgeable. The office staff, however, was incredibly rude and condescending. I don't want to go back here despite the great treatment of the therapists because I have never been treated so horribly by customer service in my life. They messed up the billing of my services, and when I called about it, they wouldn't even look into the matter, just got snappy with me and told me to figure it out. When I called my insurance company, they were very nice and offered to call back to Western Berks on my behalf so I didn't have to deal with "M" again. Turns out, western berks was at fault. Mistakes happen, not a big deal, but the way i was treated by "M" WAS a big deal. Absolutely disgraceful.

Excellent PT

I was treated at Western Berks PT, the Wyomissing office, for a neck injury many years old. I had pain in my neck and back that was becoming unbearable. What I liked about Western Berks PT is that they do a thorough evaluation to start and discus with you your impression of their evaluation. They explain things like nerves that branch out and hurt in locations not associated in your mind with the original injury. Also, after treatments they ask how you are doing and answer questions you have. They explain why they are doing what they are doing and the expected outcome so you will know what to expect to happen as you go through a treatment regimen. Then they re=evaluate to see if the treatment outcomes expected were met. I would have no problem referring anyone to this company because they are so comprehensive in educating you as well as treating you to your satisfaction.
