I have a friend who rented from Bowery twice. Both times were a wreck. This last time they threatened to evict my friend for requesting to have the apartment cleaned. They had a fridge full of food and rotten stuff on the shelves. It needed completely scrubbed out.



I personally changed the air filters and they are discussing. They were so nasty that everyone who came to the apartment ended getting sick. I was literally the only one who did not get sick while in the apartment.



My friend's roommate was even sent to the ER because she got so sick.



When they complained about that the landlord said that basically they had until the end of the month to get out even though they never broke the lease.



If you want to deal with mature adults do not rent from this company.

Awful place to live. If you have a choice to move somewhere else, pick it. Terrible employees and apartments are way overpriced for what you get. Employees are rude. Parking is terrible. It is not worth spending an entire school year at.
