Premier Medical Care

The nurse and treating DO, Dr.Renee Sartain were VERY rude, hateful, and had no regard for patient comfort. The room I was placed in was freezing and my husband and I complained and were not offered a blanket or for them to turn the air down. The staff held personal conversations while we waited we could here Dr.Sartain discuss issues with the IRS and how they claimed she had not paid her taxes and that she had paid her taxes and told the man that that worked there and that the man who helped her worked in the same building as the man who was currently working on her case, the nurse who checked me in took time to walk to the neighboring convienient store for a cup of ice while the doctor conversated loudly with other workers in the office while I sat in obvious pain and discomfort ....waiting....then I was rudely talked to by a nurse who told me if I was there for more than one thing I had to choose what I wanted to be seen for, when I addressed this with Dr.Sartain she informed me that I could come back tommarrow and address my other issue, then when finding out I was in an accident she would not take my government insurance and insisted my husband go to my home to get the insurance claim number before she would treat me. I waited for several hours in a freezing room and they did not keep me informed about the wait or what was taking so long nor did they check on me to see if I needed anything during this entire time, not the nurse or the doctor. When the doctor asked who was at fault I told her the person who hit me and she was all to eager to bill the car insurance company and would not bill the primary insurance of mine. I feel as thoough the only polite person in that entire office was the young lady who first took my information and she also was the only one who expressed any concern for the way I was feeling. That is pretty bad, this place is the most unprofessional healthcare facility I have ever been in and I am writing to the medical board and already wrote the BBB and they closed my case becuase they said "In the case of healthcare providers, BBB cannot report and pursue complaints concerning the underlying competency of medical services, care and procedures. BBB can report billing disputes that do not involve underlying competency issues." They carry the BBB accredation seal on their window and I plan to write another complaint about the unprofessionalism and rude manner in which I was treated by nurse and doctor. I will be writing to the medical board as well because these people need to be turned in and the place needs an overhaul in the staff department with the exception of the front desk clerk who initially checked me in and had me fill out paperwork she is the only person I encountered that day that had any decent people skills and showed concern for my condition. I would give this place 0 stars if I could but it won't let you do that you have to rate and they do not deserve one star, I informed the doctor that there are NSAID's I can't take and she prescribed me the one I could take and I told her the insurance won't cover it and I went to fill it and it was not covered so I couldn't pick it up, it was a waste of time for me and I feel as though I should not have to pay for being treated like crap and not even being able to get the medicine because as I told the doctor my insurance wouldn't cover it and I did not have the 300 dollars to pay for it! She didn't care she wrote it up and didn't even see me she had the nurse running back and forth! The 10 minutes I did spend with her she was more concerned about getting that insurance claim number and finding out who was at fault than she was my care! I give this place and that doctor a big 0 and the scale of 1-10, now I know why others gave this place such terrible ratings.
