Overall

This company made two appointments with me, one on Friday afternoon between 12 and 4. After waiting all afternoon, they called at 4 to res he due for the following day between 12 and 4 again. This time at least the called early, at noon, and said they old n't make it. I won't use them again.

So far the initial consultation went fine and the technician very knowledgeable and professional. I will need to see what happens when my unit is installed so I can come back and post another review.

Beware of this company!

Had an AC/Furnace system installed by this company years ago. When the variable speed blower quit, this company quoted $1500 to replace it. I called manufacturer, and got the manufacturer to replace it with a new blower under warranty. However, this company HAD to make money on the deal. charged $300 for less than 15 minutes of easy work to replace the blower.



Now, I have found out that when they installed the AC/furnace, they did not replace the drain line, nor did they clean (rooter?) it out. The drain line was completely clogged, causing to water to leak into the foundation of the home.



I called this company, asking for just a simple question about the leak, but the only answer I could get was for them to send out a service guy for $80 and once there I could get my answer.

Calling ARS to take care of some issues with my rental property was the biggest mistake I've made this year. I'll skip the long involved story, here are the basic facts:



I'm out nearly $2000 in service costs, and I still haven't gotten all of my issues fixed. Very little of this cost was parts.



A gas stove was installed improperly, causing it to have issues lighting.



I bought two dish washers that I didn't even need thanks to repeated misdiagnosis.



I wasted about 8 hours waiting for a plumber to make trips back and forth for parts.



A valve was left in the on position by the plumber, which led to water spraying behind a fridge and seeping into the floor, possibly causing water damage.



I was told by the person scheduling my service that it would be no problem to do some things that I asked for, and the technician immediately said they didn't do that upon arrival.



Finally, when I called to try and get this sorted out, I was promised a call by a supervisor first thing in the morning and was told that an electrician was scheduled to come out today. This morning I got no call from a supervisor, and the only person who was scheduled to come out was the technician that misdiagnosed the washing machine twice.



When I finally called in to speak to a supervisor, I was told that they wouldn't be able to send someone out to fix my issue, and offered me $50 off my next ARS service. Upon refusing this coupon, the supervisor seemed offended and said she'd call me back about other options, like the partial refund I was asking for.



She never did.



I like how prompt ARS is at getting a technician out, but I don't think I can ever use them again with how badly this has turned out.

Don't trust ARS - I had my a/c system checked because it wasn't working. I was told

that I needed a new blower and my evaporator needed to be cleaned. I was skeptical so I called another company American Air. They checked my system and said all I needed was a capacitor for the blower a total of $150.00 repair instead of

$1500.00 from ARS.

Annual service plan sux

Bought the annual plan but my Spring AC cleaning occurred in June and my Winter heating clean occurred in Late January. Who changed the seasonal calendar?



My local rep doesn't return my calls when I try to schedule my 2013 spring clean for April. Maybe I should try back in August.... Filing with BBB on Friday if she doesn't call back

My Father and I were extremely pleased with the Plumbing Technician, Justin Weeks, that ARS sent out to the house. He was professional, knowledgable, and easy to talk to. Justin took the time to explain and educate us on the specifics of the plumbing issue at hand. He also took the time to explain some preventative maintenance tips. Just did a fantastic job, and checked on his work the very next morning...Great service and attention to detail. We highly recommend Justin and ARS for your plumbing and associated technical needs. We have been extremely pleased...

We have been extremely pleased with the exceptional service provided by ARS and especially Peter Wabbel, the technician who has been keeping our heating and air conditioning serviced and in excellent working order. We have used ARS for approximately 10 years, and we continue to be impressed with Peter's knowledge, willingness to explain issues, and ability to provide recommendations that improve the functioning of our heating and air conditioning system. We congratulate ARS on their wisdom in employing Peter. He is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy, and he is a very nice gentleman. We trust his advice, and he consistently improves the quality and performance of our heating and air conditioning system with each visit.
