Argus Pool Supply

We just had a new pool built this year and found this great pool supply store. Prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. They got me started on how to check the chemicals and now I can handle on my own.

We got a spa shortly after this business opened. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. We can't beat his prices even on line. It's great to have a local resource to check your water and give you good advice. The store is packed with all you need.

Very knowledgeable and honest. I have tried other stores and this is my favorite. Every time my pool has an issue, they have a solution and it works...quick.

I recently bought an above ground pool more as a birthday party diversion than a permanent fixture. Even though I bought the pool elsewhere and wasn't spending much money on chemicals, everybody at Argus Pool Supplies was super patient and helpful with getting my tiny pool set up optimally. They offer great advice. What a fantastic business.

Argus Pool Supplies is one of those small family stores where you can find everything for your pool at great prices Kevin is a gentleman and a Human Google when it comes to pools. He always seems to have just what you need in stock and also gives you great advice. His chemical analysis of your pool water is one of the best bits of customer service you'll encounter. I've visited the big stores like Leslies as well as smaller ones and Argus Pool Supplies is by far the best, with the best prices and best customer support.

I can't really add anything new to what's already been said other than to say they are all right. This place is the best.

Being frustrated with my pool vacuum, I went to his store ready to buy another brand/model at his store (a few $100s). He told me that I should stick with what I have since in his honest opinion I had the best vacuum that money can buy. He recommended that I tried to find what the problem was and he offered to take a look at it to try to ""debug"" it. In the end, I found out that someone had messed with the water pump valves which reduced the suction on the vacuum. That was the problem. There was indeed nothing wrong with my vacuum. That piece of advice, save me 100s of $$$.

Great personal service. All small businesses should be run like this. Very knowledgeable and helpful especially for this novice spa owner. Don't even bother with the big box store.

I just closed on my first home. I was freaked out enough about being a home owner, never mind being clueless about how to even begin to take care of a pool. By the time I left Argus Pool Supplies, they had performed a water test so I knew the pH was perfect, I left with chemicals, a skimmer and brush. It was cheap and exactly the calming experience I needed. Plus, Kevin is delightful to deal with. He even let me take home a few things to see if they fit what I needed and you can return them if they don't fit with your pool.

If you needed any pool parts or pool supplies this is the place to go. Friendly and helpful, Kevin, and his staff are always attentive of all customers walking through the door. Before you finish walking in, Kevin, and his staff are asking "how are you today? How can I help you?". I have been here several times a week for the past few years, the longest wait time I experienced is about 4 minutes. I have several local pool supplies in my area, but I prefer to use these guys. I could always bring in a sample of my water have it tested for free, and they recommend what I needed. "The prices" hard to beat. I previously had purchased a pool warming liner online close to $300.00 the quality was not the best. It lasted only two summers before the chlorine started to take its toll on it and ripped. While shopping at Argus Pool Supplies I noticed they had a liner that fits my pool 30X15, when I saw the price I bought it on the spot. I am now on the my third year using this liner with virtually no wear to it. The quality of the parts and material sold by Argus Pool Supplies have been the best that I have found. Best part of this spot is they are open 7 days a week. Sometime you are in a jam, and need supplies for a last minute pool party. call Kevin he will have your supplies ready, and waiting for you at the door.

The owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He will test your city water with a computer for free and recommend a plan for your pool or spa. After being treated to terrible customer service at another spa store, this place is a welcomed find. thanks, will be back!

We recently put in a pool with Argus Pool Supplies and had a great experience. We had read and heard horror stories about shady or inadequate pool builders and took months to research builders in the area. We were impressed with Kevin from the beginning and pleasantly surprised when the pricing came in competitive with very small builders. Kevin helped us go through his detailed proposal and find areas where we could cut costs without compromising elements that we highly valued. He was always very responsive to questions and never put any pressure on us. We wound up with a beautiful pool that we are thoroughly enjoying. The workers, who did all of the stone work around the pool, was phenomenal. During their phase of the project, they were in our yard working from sun-up until after dark daily. They take great pride in their skill and does beautiful work. Argus Pool Supplies was on budget and on time and we have no complaints. We can't imagine going wrong with Argus Pool Supplies!

Kevin is awesome! We were looking for a pool guy since the one we had previously wasn't working out. We stumbled upon his company and couldn't be more pleased. We are newly renting where we are at and he even came out and took pictures of the pools condition so we could have it to show it didn't happen while we were here (just to be safe). He's been nothing but a pleasure to work with and needless to say we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend him to EVERYone. You won't be disappointed!

I called Argus Pool Supplies after finding good reviews for this local business on the internet. Kevin answered when I called and said he could come by the same day (a Saturday). We had a heater that wouldn't start and "no flow" problems with our saltwater chlorinator system. Kevin was prompt, polite and professional. He cleaned our dirty filters which didn't fix the flow problem but did indicate a bad flow sensor. We bought and installed a new flow sensor that fixed our flow problem and I'm impressed with this business and have no reservations referring them to you.

Kevin came and replaced our pool light. He was extremely professional and fantastic about communication. Unfortunately, for him our light needed an extra part, so he had come back to complete the job. He was timely and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Argus Pool Supplies service to anyone who needs service. They are extremely knowledgeable about pools and go the extra mile. I will hire them again if we need additional pool service. You are in great hands with Argus Pool Supplies.

I have had the pleasure of using Argus Pool Supplies for just shy of a year. I was new to the area and purchased a home with a pool and had no clue on what to do so I called Kevin and he was at my property promptly and checked out the equipment, made adjustments and explained my system to me. Kevin is not only a great guy but is reliable and my pool looks amazing at all times! I highly recommend you use his service.

Fabulous experience! I originally called Kevin due to my pump not pulling water from the pool into the filter. I had been messing with the vacuum and managed to get it locked up with air. I waited a couple of days, and when the problem had not resolved itself I knew I needed to call someone. I did my research and found that Argus Pool Supplies is the only company on yelp that is also on the BBB website and gets consistently great reviews. Kevin called me back within about 10 minutes and said he could be down the next morning to take a look at my problem. I mentioned I also had a DE leak somewhere in my filter that I would like him to look at since he will be here. He was here exactly when he said he would be the next day, and wouldn't you know it after the pump running for maybe a minute, it was pulling water in from the pool. So, the good news is I don't have a pump issue but still have the DE issue. Kevin said he could look at that and clean it for a great price, which if you have ever cleaned your own DE filter, you know that is a bargain, plus he is cheaper than what Leslie Pool supply charges. While cleaning it, it became clear that all of my panels had small tears in them. The corners and ridges were wearing away and all the DE was getting out through those. So, I need to replace all of them. He showed me on each one where they are wearing, so I can see for myself what is going on. Kevin is an honest guy who is running a great business. If you are having pool issues I would say, call him! You won't be disappointed. He shows up when he says, does what he says, and you don't get ripped off. He won't just show up in your yard one day, do work, invoice you and disappear. I would recommend him to anyone with a pool.
