I really regret that I have to say anything bad about Dr. Levin's office. He has always been upfront and thorough about my case and how I should proceed. I have been a patient with him for almost three years! Lately I have had to see his asisstant Belva Gettings. First I must say that I was diagnosed with a few ruptured disc and spinal stenosis in L3-4, L4-5, L5-S1.

My initial symptoms were that I could not stand for 5-10 minutes. As for walking, that was definitely out of the ? I had my surgeon perform a laminotomy/laminectomy with discectomy. It was a success for about three months. Currently I am suffering from the same symptoms and I describe them to Ms. Gettings every month. A few months ago she told me that i need to go out for a JOG! (REALLY!) I told her that I need something stronger for the pain! 'At this point I have not tried anything stronger than Norco 10'. My pain is CONSTANT and it never leaves. She told me that maybe I should try a patch. She also advised me that ONLY patients with cervical CANCER use stronger medication than Norco 10. Dr. Levin prescribed me Percocet 10. I have been struggling with this med for about 4 months now. Mr Levin tried to change my med to Nucynta but my insurance would not cover it and when I went back to the pain clinic to tell them I needed something different that would be covered. Belva Gettings diagnoses me as an ADDICT! She says, all calmly" Mario You Are Hooked on this medication, hah" I wanted to blow up! I told her that the workers comp adjuster will never approve anything new! I am in Pain and I just want my old meds back. When I confronted her about her suggestion for me to for a JOG. She denied it! .......Belva if you are reading this YOU NEED HELP W/ AMNESIA or Alzheimer's Disease!.....Just like I told you today that I have never had a problem with Dr Levin office. I thank Mr Levin for his services and I feel that I will never go back there!!!!!
