I have nothing good or bad to say about instruction. Haven't seen any dancers dance yet, but I am rating KDC based solely on difficulty contacting them. I have left 4 messages. Zero have been returned. Very unprofessional.

The dance instruction is adequate but...



I was terribly disappointed in the lack of communication between the studio owner and the parents. Times, dates, dressing room locations, costume, make-up, and hair requirements are not given in any organized manner. (No handbook or regular newsletter.) Many times I learned essential information not from the owner or teachers, but rather second-hand from other parents. And sometimes not at all.



One thing was clearly communicated via email before we left for national competition. "If you are to call, or text any Instructor during Nationals, please know that we are not responsible to respond." This really was a non-issue because I was never given a phone number of any of the teachers. (Nor were we privileged with knowing which hotel they would be staying at.) Not comforting for a competition novice hundreds of miles from home.



There are many fine dance schools to choose from in the area with equal if not better dance instruction. Find one where they have a parent handbook and good communication.
