I would like to recommend Expert Auto Insurance Agency in general, and its CEO, Mr. Shaw Pirnia in particular, to anyone who is looking to buy any kind of insurance. Shawn helped me and my family to purchase medical insurance through Covered California, and also to obtain Rental Property Insurance. Shawn explained all the details such that I could understand clearly. He is knowledgeable, patient and polite. He promptly replied to my email and answered my phone calls and followed up my inquiries thoroughly. I have always felt that I am welcome to his office by him and his staff. I sincerely wish his success in his business.

Why should you have to wait on them?

My vehicle's recently been hit by a vehicle that carries Mercury Insurance. I was in a parking lot waiting for cars to pass, and suddenly a car backs up into mine from his parking space. Obviously it was the other vehicle's fault. Anyways, I contacted their insurance company immediately. The Adjuster said that once he'd contacted the Insured, they could go on with the process. In the mean time, go to one of Mercury's body shops to get an estimate of the total damages. I told him that I wanted to go to a body shop connected to the dealer that I purchased my car from. He said I could do that, but It'll take another 8-10 business days for one of their guys to go to that body shop and authorize the work. Then he changed it all around and said that I couldn't take it to another body shop at all. All I was suppose to do was have my car looked at for 10 minutes, get an estimate, and wait to be contacted again for the next proceeding. He said that I would have to pay for my own rental cars until they were able to determine who was liable for the accident. He also kept insisting for me to make a claim with my insurance company instead. I hung up the phone thinking... Wow, how inconveniant for me. First I get hit by a car out of no where, and now I have to work around Mercury's schedule. I didn't feel right. So I called my adjuster back and said, " I know the accident wasn't my fault. So I'm going to drop my car off at a body shop of my choice, have them fix it and pick up a rental car which Mercury will pay for." The next day, my adjuster called me and told me that the work has been authorized and if I needed anything else I could call him.
