        American Freestyle Karate is an eclectic blend of several martial arts:Shotokan karate, American karate (Top Ten system), Tae Kwon Do, American kickboxing (Joe Lewis system), Thai boxing, Nihon Goshin Aikido, Pekiti Tercia Escrima, Doce Pares Escrima, Classical Okinawan and Japanese Kobudo (weaponry)Our system is continually evolving, utilizing many skills from a plethora of sources, and recently integrating Hapkido and Brazilian Ju Juitsu. Our goal is to provide an all inclusive well rounded valuable education in both the cultural, historic, philosophical, and athletic aspects to martial arts. To create a health oriented life style that provides both inner self confidence, as well as the knowledge you are not helpless in the event of attack.

        Overall

        I love what this place has done for my family! Taught self-discipline, focus, character, honor, short term goals, long term goals, self defense, confidence, courage, and so much more.



        My kids started in the after-school program and after seeing the changes in them I joined in the evenings. We trained together, and competed in tournaments together as a family. I have to bow to them, because they are higher rank than I am and they love that!



        Master Thomas is an excellent instructor. Teaches at your individual learning level and offers private lessons if you feel you need additional assistance.
