Overall
Service

My dog was groomed at Wagon Train for a year but the last time i took him to be groomed he came back with a cut on his paw... a week later I received a letter from the owner letting me know that he had bitten the groomer... There was no apologies for having injured him, instead I was told not to bring him back

Overall

I get my dog groomed here, so naturally I returned to Wagon Train when I was ready to start raising backyard chickens. The owner, Theresa, is very sweet and helpful. She understood my concerns about various chicken breeds and took the time to discuss specifics with me, after which she recommended the ones that would work best for our environment. I'm very happy with the choices she helped me make.

The store is often crowded and the staff is usually busy, and their phone line is constantly ringing with inquiries, so sometimes you have to wait a little while to get service. But that says something -- customers shop/return here for good reason (who would shop somewhere that is always empty?).

I think the dog grooming services are a little pricey compared to other 'salons' I've been to, but they always do a good job and my dog is happy when she goes there, she trusts the staff and they're very kind to her. I've taken my dog to other places and she's come home with a rash, the result of cheap chemical shampoos. So I'm happy to pay a little extra for peace of mind and the health of my pooch.

Highly recommended :D

This is a wonderful neighborhood pet store. So kind to kids when they want to hold the chicks and feed the baby goats. The location is small, but they have a nice selection of the things you need most. The previous reviewer claimed to be "ignored". All I can say is, sometimes you have to wait your turn. Folks there are very nice and accommodating.

I have a hard time believing that these reviews were not written by the owner or friends of the owner of Wagon Wheel. Although it appeared to be a quaint little and I mean little pet store it by no means is a feed and tack supply. After standing at the counter and being ignored for a couple of minutes by the store clerk I decided to leave.
