Sycamore Greens

I've been in this complex since Jan 2007 and have had nothing but problem after problem. The first year of our lease they were overcharging and we had to catch it and pitch a fit to get the difference reimbursed to us. They also re-assigned the (ONE covered and far away) parking space assigned to us 3 different times and almost had our cars towed out of our own spots because they do not keep proper records. When switching to a bigger apartment, they waited until 3 days before move in to tell us they wanted a five thousand dollar deposit when we've been tenants without complaint or late rent once in all our time here. The personnel dented my car w/ the property maintenance golf cart, the women are only in the office about 50% of the time the office is supposed to be open, and when a shower head popped off (in my first month in the new apartment) and gave me an Orbital Contusion on the entire right side of my face the property (and the property management company BayHarbor Management of Costa Mesa, CA) took no responsibility after taking pictures of my embarrassingly swollen face and black eye...not to mention the throbbing pain and the stares of people in public that I had to deal with while alone with a newborn and four year old while Hubby is in Afghanistan. The old handyman even verified that it was an old showerhead that he didn't replace before I moved in. The only nice thing is that the grounds are well kept and the women in the office are generally nice when there. Oh, and the neighbors are noisy, good luck getting anything done about that!
