Arbor Creek Animal Hospital

Dr. Tarrant (Mike) and Natasha and all of their staff have been so good to our dog, Ashes, and my family. We had a business near them and started taking our previous dog to them, sort of by default. However, after hearing stories about some other places, we began to realize just how lucky we were to find them. My dog loves to go there (unlike another place I've taken him to) and runs for their front door as soon as we get out of the car. I feel that says a lot about how he's treated there. We've had nothing but good experiences there. I'm really going to miss them when we move to Baltimore.

We've been using Arbor Creek every five weeks for two years for Murphy our Maltese. Best Groomer ever!

I was very happy to find a place that would take my guinea pig, and I must say I was very impressed. Everyone was so nice and answered any questions I had.I will tell anyone who asks me about this great hospital.

We were given a recommendation to this vet and boy are we happy. Dr. Tarrant practices alternative pet care in addition to traditional medicine. He also focuses on pet nutrition and offers many products or recommendations. Dr. Tarrant is great with our puppy and spends a lot of time answering all of our questions. Great great vet!!!

When we first moved to Olathe we continued to commute to Prairie Village for our vet/boarding services. However, after hearing great comments from neighbors about Arbor Creek, after a year or so we decided to give it a try. We have since transitioned all of our services for our Lab here. In addition to routine vet needs, we have also used Arbor Creek to board her many times and have always had a good experience. As someone who was hesitant to transfer our vet care based on a trusted relationship with our prior vet, I would recommend Arbor Creek.

I brought my 9 week old Cane Corso Mix into Arbor Creek for the first time for an emergency visit this week and i was blown away by my experience.

Judy and Alyson were extremely helpful, both over the phone before-hand and when we arrived. I was all out of sorts and worried about my puppy of course, but felt much more at ease the second we walked in the door. They had a room already waiting for us, and Alyson was very understanding and thorough in explaining to me what they were doing and why they were doing it. After just a few minutes of being in the room with Alyson, i felt comfortable knowing my baby's health was in their hands.

We did not have to wait long at all before Dr. Tarrant came in to exam Bo. He was very polite, smiled a lot, and introduced himself right away. He was also very thorough, explaining everything along the way. He wanted to keep Bo for the afternoon, which i appreciated for more than one reason. Although i was beyond worried about my puppy, i had to get to work as soon as possible to avoid getting in trouble and any other vet could have just told me to take him home and keep an eye on him. It also just made me feel better that he wanted to keep him to watch him, even though by this time he seemed to be doing okay, he wanted to be sure before sending him home.

They took care of my puppy all day, making sure he had plenty of toys, and a yummy lunch:)



This all happened just yesterday, and i have already cancelled Bo's future appointment with his old vet and rescheduled it with Arbor Creek, and i haven't stopped bragging about my experience since i walked out that door last night with a happy, healthy puppy.



If you love your pets as much as i do, Arbor Creek is the only way to go.

Dr. Tarrant, Natasha, and the rest of the staff are AMAZING! We have been going to him for years with our two dogs, Loren and Macey. I can honestly say that Dr. Tarrant and his staff love my dogs just as much as I do. My older dog, Loren recently broke her leg, and Dr. Tarrant was able to give us 3 options for her treatment. Then last week when my dog broke her splint for the second time in 2 days, he got creative and made a stronger splint that won't break apart with my 75 lb. dog. Dr. Tarrant always takes his time with our dogs and answers all my questions. His staff is always friendly and helpful. I would also like to say that his prices are reasonable compared to other local vets.

Dr. Tarrant and his staff are AWESOME. I have taken my cats there for over 2 years. We have never had any problems or concerns about his advice and care. They make visits very simple, clean, care-filled, and fast! And they don't charge crazy prices for their services. Their love for animals shows!

If you love your dog as much as I love Cody you would go here and let Dr. Michael Tarrant and his staff take care of your pet. He is the most patient, thoughtful, considerate and hard working person I have ever worked with. He helped save my dog from vaccine reactions and he is still in treatment but he is so close to being himself again. Everyone there treats you like family - even my dog feels at home there - he is not afraid, he does not run or quiver. If 'people' doctors gave you the time, feedback and support that Dr. Tarrant does - the world would be a perfect place. I would give more stars if they were available!

I agree with the other reviews on here, this place is the best! Mike & Natasha are awesome people. Everyone in the office was wonderful to talk to as well and were genuinely excited about meeting us and our animals. We enjoyed going there and seeing the office and meeting everyone! We won't take ANY of our pets anywhere but Arbor Creek from now on as we have found our lifetime Vet care!! Highly, highly recommended!! Thank you all so much!!!!!

I can not even begin to tell you how impressed with this pet hospital I am! Dr. Tarrant is fabulous and he staff are warm and caring as well. I went to this hospital because I had an emergency with my dog and in a panic called after hours. Fortunately, for myself and my dog they answered! My dog required surgery that night and the doctor stayed after to talk to me about the procedure and what to expect in the upcoming days/weeks! I left that night feeling confident that my dog was going to be ok and had been in great hands! On our first follow up appointment Dr. Tarrant once again proved to not only be a great vet but a great person! I am a stay at home mom with two small children and a pet that I was trying to limit the time on his wound. You can imagine I had my hands full, Dr. Tarrant offered to carry my dog out to the car. He has gone above and beyond the realm of good quality care. I would recommend this hospital to any and everyone! JOB WELL DONE ARBOR CREEK ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

Dr Tarrant and his staff are very kind and caring. They are all very knowledgeable and he practices traditional and holistic medicine. My two cats have seen him only once and are already better. I am very grateful

Dr. Tarrant and his staff are excellent! They care about our animals and our family. We live out of state now and we still get communications from them, checking in to see how our family is doing. Our dog and cat have received better care at Arbor Creek than any other we have ever tried. Thank you Arbor Creek!!
