Dr. Robert Seaman, Jr originally began his dental practice in June of 1981 after graduating from UMKC Dental School. The focus of the office has always been on providing friendly, comfortable, high quality dental care to patients of all ages. By providing a wide range of care, to patients of all ages, it truly is a family dental practice. Whether you need just routine care, bridgework, dentures, root canals, crowns, orthodontics, or cosmetic services, you can have all these needs/wants met at Seaman Family Dentistry. Only in rare cases do patients need to be referred to a specialist for care. The office staff is both friendly and informative and willing to assist patients with everything from making them feel comfortable to sorting out major insurance issues. Multiple financial options are available for patients to handle the cost of dental care. The office accepts most dental insurance and is even a Delta Dental provider. For patients without dental insurance, you are still very welcome in the office and Dr. Seaman even created an in-office plan to help patients without dental insurance make care more affordable. The office logo, "we create smiles" was created because Dr. Seaman believes that everyone should have a smile they are happy with and he utilizes all services available to help patients create the smile of their dreams. Orthodontics are utilized for both adults and children, as sometimes this is the best way to provide a patient with a beautiful smile.If you are not interested in traditional braces, you may be a candidate for Clear Correct, which is a popular orthodontic option for adults in the practice. If you are looking for a faster smile change, then both whitening and/or porcelain veneers may be the solution that brings you to the smile of your dreams. Dr. Seaman always offers complimentary smile consultations to go over what you are looking for and what options you have to accomplish it. Since Dr. Seaman has raised 6 children, he understands the variety of needs and concerns that families face when it comes to dental care and this office helps to insure those needs are met so everyone can see the same dentist for a lifetime.

Our office provides a wide variety of services to handle the dental needs of all our patients. We provide diagnostic, preventive, periodontal care, fillings, crowns, bridgework, dentures, restorative services over implants, orthodontic, cosmetic and TMJ services all in the same location. If you are looking for ways to improve your smile, we offer in-office and at-home whitening services, invisible (aligner therapy) braces, porcelain veneers, and crowns to help create the smile of your dreams. If you have missing teeth, we offer bridges, restorations over implants and dentures to fill those gaps and help you eat healthy again. Dr. Seaman and our friendly staff will provide your whole family with high quality dental care in a comfortable environment. Parents love being able to take their children to the same place for checkups, cleaning, and orthodontic visits, while at the same time having their own dental needs addressed. But, we don't just provide orthodontics for children, many adults choose orthodontic services to improve their natural smile and we have metal and porcelain traditional braces as well as Clear Correct (invisible braces) for everyone to choose from - so you can either show off your orthodontic treatment or keep it a secret.

Location

We are located at the corner of 77th & Quivira Rd, in Lenexa, behind Bank of America. Our sign says, "Seaman Family Dentistry."

Amenities

We do our best to make dental appointments as convenient as possible for patients. Our office has both early morning and evening appointments to help accommodate our patients' busy schedules. New patients can even complete their registration paperwork on our website before they arrive for their first visit and when an existing patient is due to update their information, we send their updates to them in advance, all to cut down on any waiting time. Patients are typically starting their visit within 5-10 minutes of their appointment time. To extend our care, if you have a dental emergency when we are not opened, our voice mail service will instruct you on how to contact Dr. Seaman after hours. If you just want to schedule an appointment at your convenience, then you can request an appointment via email and staff member will correspond with you until you have selected the time available that works best for you. We also offer confirmations by email, phone and text messages. We also have at least one staff member on staff who speaks Spanish.
