Four Paws Inn

Not happy at all! We’ve takin our dogs here 2 times before because we didnt have much choice so we know their prices..before we only paid $11 per dog so $22 a night if boarded together which they were suppose to be. Well we were gone for 5 days and charged almost $300, $22 for one dog a night and $15 for the other plus before we left they asked if we wanted our dogs bathed but failed to mention it’d cost $75. They also came home with whooping cough even with all their updated shots. This is run by young kids that don’t know what there doing and charge whatever they please

Twice now my dog was not fed all her meals...came home with extra food that I portioned out into zip lock bags. Twice now her paws came home bloody and sores on all four paws. And this time I questioned the bill afterwards and noticed I was charged $23 on the last day for daycare not $10 due to picking her up after 2pm. So normally daycare is $10 but since she spent the previous night they claim it's also a half day charge the next day if picked up after 2pm. Makes zero sense. I give zero stars and won't be back to this place....keep the $13 you owe me. It's nothing now knowing what I know about this place

I trust nobody except for Four Paws to care for my dogs! My dogs don't even miss me when I leave them at Four Paws.

I routinely board my dogs there and the dogs are excited to get there. If they have any concerns they called me right away and even brought my dog to the vet for me! (Scuffle between 2 of my dogs) i very much trust these guys with my dogs :)

This place is so unsanitary that I reported them to the Dept of Animal Health and Bismarck Animal Control. It is so unsanitary that my dog developed coccidia 2 weeks after her stay here (which is a parasite that takes 2 weeks to show symptoms - funny coincidence, huh?).



I boarded my dog here over a weekend and found dried on urine and feces on her paws and coat when I picked her up. The manager explained that the dogs have a concrete slab to do their business on, and during the winter when it's cold the staff just lets the waste freeze instead of the "labor-intensive process" of cleaning it up. Here's the kicker: despite this facility also having a bathing service, they just let your dog lay in other dogs' waste instead of cleaning them off!



I want to stress: THIS IS NOT A GUESS. THIS IS WHAT THE MANAGER TOLD ME WHEN I ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION.



When I called Animal Control their response was, "That's disgusting. We will investigate." Take your business elsewhere, people. Your dogs will thank you.

Do NOT bring your pets here for any reason. Zero stars, negative stars - if that were possible for a review. My family took our 4 year old (sweet as a dog could ever be) shepherd here for boarding for three days just after Christmas in 2014. When we picked her up from Four Paws Inn - Bismarck, her paws were covered with crusted feces and urine. Deplorable. Unbelievable. I called them today asking for a manager and was told that she would call me back tomorrow. Regardless of the conversation we may or may not have, there is NO - NO possible excuse for this being tolerable or acceptable at any level, for any reason. I am completely and utterly disgusted.

I just want to warn everybody I know that cares about their pets to NEVER take them to FOUR PAWS in Bismarck. We took Jesse there & it was horrible. We had written a note explaining what he needed, along with telling them when we got there. They didn’t feed him any of his canned food or medicine that we brought. We left him some toys, some shirts of ours & a bed, which were all right outside the kennel drenched in urine, they didn’t even bother to put down the bed that they have built it for him, so God knows how long he had to lay on cold concrete. He was drenched in urine so bad & stunk so bad that we had to drive 80 miles home with the back windows down in the winter. How they can sleep at night is beyond me. Didn’t feed him any of his treats either. We will be turning them in to whoever we can.

I found myself needing to board my dog and was nervous because he had never been in a kennel (he's almost 9). The staff at Four Paws is AWESOME! They encouraged me to bring him for daycare a couple times before my trip to get him used to it and such. They were so great that now he goes for daycare at least once a week just to play with his new dog and people friends. They take excellent care of all the dogs and you can tell that every person on their staff genuinely cares about every dog that comes through the door...and the dogs love them all right back!

I was not impressed with this kennel. My wife and I were in town for a funeral and had our dogs with us. They barked in the hotel room and we were told we could not leave them there while we were gone. I called to see if we could board them there and they said to bring updated records with us. We left in a hurry and did not grab our records. They would not call our vet or accept a fax. I only hope that when they have a death in the family and everything is chaotic people treat them nicer than they did us!!!
